Off topic from the case, but is their any word on the new fan series announced a month ago? release date? Those corsair fans are a little tempting

I finally had some time to take some mostly finished pictures of my Switch!
I hope you all like it. This is my first time water cooling or doing anything custom.
I am especially happy with several things:
1. My mounting of the water pump.
2. My mounting location for the SSD (the spacing for the thumb screw storage is perfect for an SSD)
3. Painting the fans gold.
4. My "Bottle Cap" seals for the water cooling ports on the back.
I am really happy with the look of the NZXT Mix fan controller as well as the NZXT 2M LED lights which I need to take a picture with in the dark with the PC and lights on as it looks great.
Hope you enjoy the pics! Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Cheezit,

Beautiful build! and i find it funny i'm a 3770k away from finishing my build with the same case / res / pump... and i fitted the res / pump in the exact same way! i spent a few hours postulating how i could possibly fit the pump to where it would have no kinks, not obstruct flow, and not need 90/45's... looks like we chose the right place!

Oh, and i'm totally stealing your idea for the SSD mounting biggrin.gif brilliant idea

How is this case in terms of air cooling in the stock configuration?

Thanks!

Working on a custom water kit for my switch 810 and was wondering what size reservoir should i get for it I thought about a FrozenQ Liquid Fusion V Series but not sure if I need 160ml or 250ml. I'm very new to water cooling but i do not want a kit .

Get the smaller one. I have the 250, it was too big to be honest. You can look at my build log in my sig, but the summary is that I removed a fan from my 360 and one of my push and both of my pull fans on the 240 because its so tall. (It does look amazing though, lol)

This is built to perform with both air and water really well. Hence the name Switch. The air flow in this thing is crazy. I had a CM HAF (high air flow) 932 and the switch blew it out of the water before hooking all my WC stuff up.

Technically, you don't even need a res. Mainly for just getting air bubble out of the loop. So I would def suggest you get the smaller one.
