It's in a "mock-up" mode for the picture, sitting on some studs, but the plan is to use M3 X 10mm standoffs to secure the fan controller, optical drive and bay res on that side, which would allow the use of the original NZXT thumb screws that come on the drive bay tail to secure the trim cover to the standoffs.
You can see the holes are already drilled and relieved to accept the thumb screws.
(well you can on the original pic, but it kinda gets lost in the scale down)
I also think it's going to look cleaner with the tilt-fan mechanism removed as well.
