The 420 is great..the holes were 20mm spacing, so they lined up perfect.
To make room for tubing and fans, I cut the optical drive bay shelf out though.

Using a 4 pin PWM fan on a 3 pin connection should work fine and without issue for the long term. You just won't have PWM control, unless you use a Sunbeam Rheosmart fan controller. I've done it before.

The only bad thing about my mobo is that CPU Fan header 2 does not control fans worth a damn. My rear fan is 10x louder than any other fan in the chassis.... Gonna have to find a way to take that down.....

quick question, because I think it's cool, and may do something similar in the future if i can:
when people (like in the murderbox) use the piping instead of tubes, what fittings do they use and how do they get the pipes bent and routed?

Looks like your Chasis Fan 1 is PWM. You can use that one, but it will use Cassis/MB temp for control. That is...unless you're already using it. Speedfan works great if ASRock doesn't have an app for it.

How about you buy your choice of red fans, and buy UV spray paint from FrozenCPU. It goes on clear and reacts under UV lights.

Crazygood I also want to know, all I can think of how its done: copper pipe bent to how it needs to be threaded and chromed, then they just use the fitting which is probably custom made to tidy it up and to hide a o-ring. Only conclusion I can come up with lol hope it makes sense.

Ya know what would be cool. That braided flexi pipe used for sink faucets. I know they come in Stainless Steel.
