I appreciate the help everyone. This is why I love this site. My mind is all discombobulated from studying this week, so I just want to make sure this is right

So this is what I have: 1/2" ID x 3/4" OD tubing, 1/2" ID barb fittings, and 3/4" OD clamps. Is this right?

That's fine, but if you're going the Barb route...

you don't need rotary barbs. just regular barbs like http://www.frozencpu.com/products/9556/ex-tub-508/Bitspower_Matte_Black_G14_Barb_Fitting_-_12_ID_BP-MBWP-C01.html

also, you can keep the 7/16 ID tubing if you're going to go barbs. the I have a 1/2 ID barb with 1/2 ID 3/4 tubing right now with a zip tie to clamp and it works fine, but it could be a tighter fit with 7/16 ID tubing (better).

I probably should just stick with 1/2 ID tubing and use the barbs you linked with clamps just to be safe.

Totally up to you, but 7/16" tubing on 1/2" barbs is very safe as well...literally once the tubing is on there, no getting it off. My buddy runs it all the time, when he has to make changes to his loop, he has to cut the tubing off the barbs, they will not pull off.

^ This! I prefer the look of barbs over compression and the new monsoon fittings. It's just my personal preference....and its not as expensive. biggrin.gif
The only advice I'd give is if you do manage to get the 7/16 tubing off the 1/2 barb, do not put the tube back on. Cut the end of the tube and use the fresh part of the tube. thumb.gif

Thanks for the suggestion everyone. I finally decided to go with the 7/16 tubing and the 1/2 barbs. I just placed the order for everything and now all I need is to get my hands on that 680 HC thats never in stock.

Haha, thanks for the feedback, 47mm think, copper all round dont think I can go wrong, would go with the EK 240 XT but its out of stock in Poland - don't ask. I'm glad it pleases you biggrin.gif but since you changed yours I sort off "lost" you (I recognize everyone by their avatar).

Relised I haven't posted any pictures of my case, just been asking questions the entire time. Waiting on an import of a 240 rad as discussed, fittings and a fan controller, after that I will have a proper photo session. Yes I need more water in the res etc etc etc etc, still a lot to be done (probably why I haven't posted yet - cant cut it against the other I've seen in this thread.

Very nice... love the color scheme! thumb.gif Now you just have to water cool the graphics card. tongue.gif

Select the text you want to put in the spoiler and then use the spoiler button, looks like a black text bubble from a comic to the right of the indent button.
