So I decided I'm gonna be getting this case in the next two weeks.
Now if only there was a sale within that time period.tongue.gif

Directron has the black one for $140 and white for $150. I got my white switch from them for around $135 a while back.

Is it possible to use 3x 140mm fans in the top fan compartment while having a 360rad w/ 3x 120mm fans mounted? Or would it have to be 120mm fans on both sides?
the screws may bump into the fan, or may scratch the radiator. If you get countersunk screws that were very flat up top to mount the rad, it may work

Dumb question guys, got my build all set up (minus the GFX card now) and I can't for the life of me get the rear lights by the back panel to turn on..... I've tried following the wire from one of the bulbs seem to attach into this 2nd wire that runs straight up to the front plate switch button to turn it on - am I missing a slot to plug in power or?

- if it helps my reset / usb / sd / headphone slots in the front DO work

there should be a sata power cable from the lights that you plug in

You are right and that pic was taken about 10 minutes after I was done. Though you can only see the white when you have camera flash, I've since painted it all black a few days ago. Inside the front fan area also. thumb.gif

what do you all think of my new loop design?

358

The brown are my rad fans (I have push pull on the top one). I will be selling my 140mm and 120mm (PM me if you want biggrin.gif) and getting one of these (if anyone has unused stop plugs that are unused and they want to donate 4 of them wink.gif ):
http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/xs2xexmura.html

I will be routing tubing from the res (red on the left) to the pump, then to the one side of the new rad, then out the back, behind the MB tray, out the grommet, to my cards, to the CPU, to the 360 rad. I can switch and go to the 360 BEFORE the cpu if you think that's better? The orange block in the tubing is my QDC connector.

Thanks

Anyone have any idea how to properly clean the side window?

I previously had a cm 690 ii and bought the window and totally ruined it trying to get dust off with a rag way back in my first rig (2 years ago).

I just got my switch 810 3 days ago, built everything etc and it had a little bit of dust in one spot, wiped it with a micro fiber and i see a small scratch not very noticable but annoying madsmiley.png

also, would it be possible to remove the piece of hardware that lets the fans tilt and put it in the 5.25 bays? I'm gonna try it tomorrow but just wondering I am planning to make a false floor type mod in my case.

and lastly the steel panels and the white plastic on my case seem to not really match at all, is this supposted to be like this?

700
700

not to mention my top corner seems somewhat bent.. doesn't really bother me as much as the colors looking different.

As far as cleaning the side window....i used a rag dipped in hot water then put a few drops of DAWN soap, then wiped with a dry rag, then wiped again with a micro fiber wipe! It did the trick for me smile.gif
