Can't start my water cooling loop until exams are over in just over a months time frown.gif
In the meantime, does anyone have recommendations for case and radiator fans? Looking to go push-pull on my radiator, so in total I need 9-10 140mm fans. I'd like them to be as quiet as possible too tongue.gif
I was just looking at NZXTs FZ series, are they appropriate for use on a radiator?

yeah those fans are pretty nice. I will be getting the black NZXT Switch 810 and going for the NZXT havik fans. They look awesome. I'll be going for a black/white theme. 1 x 360 rad and 1 x 240 rad with 1/2 inch barbs and 7 1/16 inch tubing. Will probably get white tubing and go a clear coolant (that is if I don't change my mind and want colour in my res). rolleyes.gif

In my opinion BeQuiet SilentWings are definitely the best fans on the market. They work great both in vertical and horizontal position (solid bearing), also there shouldn't be any problems with a noise.

They are definitely good and Quiet as Heck! Over the NF-P12s, I can't hear them. Too bad they are not sold in the US. redface.gif

you can fit a 160mm long PSU with a 240mm rad. if I recall. My AX1200 wont fit with one horizontally because its 200mm

My HX1000W is 200mm long and the PA120.2 is 300mm. If the interior length is 530-540mm I should be able to squeeze them in there. Otherwise I'll have to get out the cutting tools and do some hacking and modding.

how many drives do you have?
I have one HDD and one SSD, so I am putting the HDD into the hot swap, and I'm putting the SSD velcro'd on the wall, and mounting my 240mm rad vertically in place of the HDD cages. Check PCmoddermikes log for what I mean, mine isnt done yet so I have no pics

I've got a mushkin chronos deluxe 240GB ssd, one wd green 2tb, 2 wd black 1tb's, and a dvd-rw. I have already ordered the xspc dual bay res + pump and a phobya 420 rad for the top. I will definitely need one of the drive cages so vertically mounting the pa120.2 is not an option. I guess if it won't fit I'll either have to cut and mod the case or buy a new psu.
