The ex420 has 15mm hole spacing and the switch 810 uses 20mm spacings for the 140mm fans so you would have to do some drilling to get it mounted.

Thanks for the info. So to directly bolt up a 420 I would need to find one with 20mm hole spacing. Will probably just go with the EX360 since it will only be cooling my CPU.

hey guys, quick question. Does anyone know how or if I can put a switch between my pump and the PSU, so if I turn off the system, I can choose to run the pump independently? I don't want to have the water sitting still doing nothing while I'm at college so i was going to put in a switch so my parents can run the water a couple hours or so a day. Is this possible, or does the PSU stop giving power when the computer shuts off?

I think there's a couple solutions:
1. Buy another PSU
2. Buy an Aquaero fan controller and needed accessories...
3. Disconnect your motherboard and either buy a shorting module for the 24 pin or short it yourself.
4, don't let your loop run when you are away to avoid nasty leaks...

alright, so it's ok to leave my loop OFF for a semester away at school?

5. Take it with you to school.
6. Impress the computer geek hotties. biggrin.gif

For air cooling, it seems you can mount the top exhaust fans either inside the case, or on top of the case under the top panel. Which would be better?

I'm thinking about going green LEDs with my white case, and naming my build "Poison Ivy" (Ivy Bridge build)
