This is the block I'm thinking of.

Sorry about missing the UPS guy. sadsmiley.gif

I am pretty sure you don't want to mix so if you have a copper CPU block you should get a copper GPU block. I would shy away from EK because I have been hearing some horror stories about their nickle plating process (also their customer service hasn't been getting good reviews recently, don't kill the messenger tongue.gif). for Silver kill coil you can put it in your res or you can put it in the tubing. I put 2 in my loop (1 before GPU block and 1 before CPU block). Just make sure if you put it in the reservoir that it is wide enough that it won't go into the tube leading to your pump (not sure what would happen, but I can guess it wouldn't be pretty.

Edit: I was wrong, just don't use aluminum. Copper block and a Nickel plated block are fine. thumb.gif

damn. even with a modular PSU, I'm having a major pain trying to wire this thing. The PSU cables arent super flexible, which doesnt help either, and they're long, so when I need to route them in a 180 behind the MB tray I'm having MAJOR issues.
UGH, taking forever lol

Always does, man. Hell, I think I took three days just to plan the wire routing and how I was going to accomplish it during my last build with this 900.

I'm playing with some mod designs for the Switch right now. I have some interesting (to me at least tongue.gif) ideas. I'll be posting later to see what you guys think. biggrin.gif

Alright everyone, I REALLY need all the help I can get! This is what I'm working with here, and I need to get them tucked somewhere nice or at least as invisible as possible.

with EK the best is just to always the Acetal + EN (NIckel) versions , unless you want a clear top or something ( I say top but really the block ends up on the bottom anways of the card anways ) , the acetal + EN nickel have less cracking issues or flaking , good conductivity and long lasting . But one of the big things with blocks too is when you screw in barbs or compression fittings you do it with your hands not tools , excessive force can screw the threads and thats how ive seen most block issues

With my 900 (and I almost guarantee that the 810 will be the same way), I routed those along the top and right edge of the card that they connect to and then out the (custom made) cable management holes closest to (underneath) the motherboard.

Yeah, when I get frustrated with my build I have to just walk away. I had to do it tonight. Come back to it the next day (or when next parts shipment arrives). I ordered white mod-right PSU extension in white. Hopefully those will be flexible because the grommet the 24 pin has to come through is right behind my res...thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif Good luck man.
