Just as long as it doesn't suffer from as horrible of a case of consolitis as Binary Domain. I saw my son playing that game on the 360 and thought it looked pretty cool, so I snatched it up for my pc. It's so bad that they didn't even change the buttons to a keyboard config. Still the big, brightly colored, 360 controller button prompts. Total bs.

I've been trying to find a good case to do my next build in (3770K and the Upcoming RoG Z77 board). It used to be the 800D but the styling seems outdated. NZXT appear to know what they're doing and I think the switch is for me but idk what color.

I was just wondering about the construction of the front panel that covers the usb and the one that covers the odd.

Ok, so I'm about to buy this case, but I can't decide between white or gunmetal biggrin.gif

Question, does the white get dirty easily?

Hey! I'm about to be a new purchaser of this case!

I'm having a hard time deciding between Matte Black, White, and Gunmetal.

Which do you guys think looks best with a watercooling setup?

Is it possible to paint this case also? This case's color looked awesome to me:

Well i'm a newbie here, i've been reading lots of posts on the Switch 810 and checking out the builds etc. Great stuff and heaps of info.

Fitting a 240 RAD on the bottom looks to be very popular but I haven't been able to find any 1000w GOLD or Platinum rated 160mm long PSU's.

Has anyone modded the Switch 810 case to extend/fit the PSU further out of the case similar to the Lian Li PSU extender http://www.lian-li.com/v2/en/product/product06.php?pr_index=249&cl_index=2&sc_index=10&ss_index=112

Just thinking by having the PSU 40 to 50mm out the back of the case elevates the issues of space for PSU cables and RAD hoses etc

Anyone tried this? Peoples thoughts??

Why not put the lower rad between the GPU and the CPU with the 35X as a booster after the GPU & lower rad, right before the CPU.
That way, you'd dissipate most of the GPU's heat load via the lower rad sending much cooler water to the CPU where the heat load would be dissipated via the top rad.
It would take a bit more tubing, but your CPU temps (and OC potential) would be measurably improved.
Maximum it will improve is 1-2ºC.

I don't get the point of using 2 pumps for flow with such a low restriction loop. It's counterproductive because the benefits from running >1.5GPM are negligible and you are adding more heat to disipate with the 2nd pump. I'm pretty sure you'd have better temps (2-3ºC) by only using one of those pumps. For redundancy it's just ok, but for flow it's counterproductive.
Other than that, your build looks gorgeous, nice work mate thumb.gif

Worth reading:

I personally have run loops down to about .9 GPM in single block loops, but the general rule of thumb is to keep flow rates above 1 GPM if possible and you can see a few fractions of a degree gain beyond that “IF” you don’t add too much pump heat. Eventually as you get to the 40-50 watts worth of pumping power, the pump heat itself starts to cause more harm than the good you are getting with flow rate.

Don't worry, you can fit that 240 with longer PSUs thumb.gif. Cables will be close to rad, but you can perfectly do it.

Yeah you can definitely paint the case if you want , ideally ou just have to roughen the surface a bit with fine grain sandpaper to it sticks properly , that color would look sick in a Switch , white with that in it would be bad-as$ for sure ..
