It will be on all of the colors eventually, it is just that MB and GM being the newest released colors they have the highest probability of being the revised units. It just takes some time for manufacturing to begin producing a new batch of pieces after using up the previous batch. thumb.gif

So I have updated the bios, installed win7 64 and updated it and have all the main drivers and utilities installed. I'm currently only running on optimized defaults in the bios and have run into some trouble with my radeon 6870. I can't even complete WEI without getting an error message saying the graphics drivers stopped responding and has recovered. I have tried the 12.4 and 12.3 drivers. I tried it a few of times and the one time it did actually finish I got a score of 1 with that error popping up multiple times. I also tried running furmark while watching the temps in GPU-Z and AIDA64 Extreme and from idle at about 54 it shoots to 106 before I stopped the test. I know 106 is way to damn high but could the programs be reading it wrong or is there a problem with my vga waterblock? Any ideas?

I'm heading out for a buddy's 40th b-day bash tonight so depending on how I feel tomorrow I may drain the system and pull the block off the card and check for problems.

OK. No problem for me, I'm only putting a 360 up top. I'll probably do some mods to the bays, though, don't really need a hot swap bay, just fan controller, DVD & a few HDD's. Still thinking about where to put the SSD's. I mean, space being at a premium ........ tongue.gif

Alot of people stick them against the back somewhere or on the side of the 5.25 , I know I almost always bring up pcmoddermikes rig but its a prime example and my rig isnt built yet.. you stick it with velcro or double sided tape , pick your adhesive ..

ok, so I tested the pump at lower speeds and no leaking.
when I opened the res while running it to refill, the water dropped like half an inch, so there was a lot of air in there. Temps @ idle are now at ~32 degrees, but the voltage isnt scaled back. What are those "C" things you mentioned earlier? They were disabled, so i tried enabling them all and the voltages are still staying @ 1.4. should I put them on auto, not enable or disable?

Meh, would have to look at my config. Not at home now. I am thinking that I just have c1e state enabled and c3 and c6 disabled. I will have to look for sure. They have to do with the way your system goes into to stand by, I believe. Someone else might know more than I and can help us answer that question a little better.

could my voltage not be dropping because I have load-line calibration not set to auto (it's @ 75%)?
Just throwing ideas out...

I don't think you want to set it to auto. On my board, I have level 1 - 4, I think. Not sure what that equates to on your mobo. It could be affecting it though. I would play with all of the c state settings and then mess with LLC.
