My Switch when it was full of gear and water cooling equipment was 62 pounds on the bathroom scale. I'm about to pull the trigger on a gunmetal one I think, amazon doesn't have the matte black on Prime, and I'm sure as heck not paying newegg $213 for it and getting it sometime at the end of next week.

empty = light. full of components = heavy. heavy + wheels = problem solved.

I have sleeved y cables. It looks cleaner just in case you do see them. Also it's easer to work with one sleeved set of cables per fan rather than 3 loose ones times however many it splits into

I have one question for you smarties out there.
I got gelid wing pl(led version) which has a rating of 0.45A
0.45A* 12V = 5.4 W
I'm using a fan controller : Kaze master pro controller KM04 ( Max 1 A and Max 12W per channel)

I want to control two fans using one channel
so the total will be 10.8W

however when I tired controlling two fans with 3pin y splitters the two fans have a lower RPM compared to one fan connected to one channel (150 ish rpm difference)

I know it's not much difference and it doesn't matter for my built, but why is there a reduction in the RPM?

I don't think it seems heavier than my HAF 922, especially with all the w/c and drives loaded. But I haven't carried the Switch all over the house like I have the HAF, the Switch is partially disassembled on the dining room table.

Starting to wonder if I should have ordered the RX360? I was concerned a push pull would not fit with my ASUS Z77 Pro-V Deluxe MOBO....

Why would you get sleeved Y splitters wires.. won't it be behind the case?
anyways.. awesome stuff biggrin.gif

Because PPCs sleeved them for FREE!!! Therefore, why not???

My biggest gripe is what others have said, and there isn't a good place to hold onto the case. Running some wide straps under the case would be ideal to move longer distances. It always makes me nervous because of all the creaking noises when I pick it up.

Thats what got me too was the feeling of plastic being about to break, way more awkward than heavy in my mind. And I finally got my matte black one on order! I love Amazon $3.99 next day shipping, it should be here tomorrow. Excited to get my machine off the table and into a case.

Heavy? No. Then again, I've now owned what? 21? 22 cases over the last 5 years?

The 800D is by far heavier. Though, I had a CaseLabs M8 with a pedestal, and with all components it weighed about as much as an 800D empty.

Steel and plastic are much heavier than case-grade aluminum. Heavy is relative, I suppose. I'm 6'0 and 190lbs, so a 50 pounds case (fully loaded) isn't that bad.
