yeah I was wondering if it was just me. Only reason it's annoying is cause I see it when I look down and it distorts my sexy graphics card mad.gifthumb.gif

Gearing up my for new build, and had a few questions that I knew you guys would have the answer to if anyone did. Yes it is all going inside the very smecksy Switch 810 gun metal case.

1) When installing the mobo, all the holes are labeled according to what size mobo you have. I'm looking at getting the gigabyte sniper 3 e-atx and have run into a little hiccup with my build. Looking at the case on newegg (mine is still shipping ATM) I am having a hard time determining how much room the e-atx board will take up. There seems to be a list for what labels are for what holes, but maybe I'm just retarded and can't figure it out. Do all the ones labeled E mean they are for the e-atx boards? from the picture it looks like e = SSI EEB? or something like that, it starts to blur when I zoom. this leads me to my next question...

Already have ordered my 250 Liquid Fusion Res from frozenQ and am eagerly awaiting its arrival. When mounting this res, do you guys have any suggestions? When I bought it I had come to the conclusion I wanted that res no matter what, and if it didn't mount/fit I would make it. Have been thinking more and more about this because the original plan was to mount it behind the HDDs on the back panel next to the mobo... but as you can see from my last question that may not be feasible anymore. So my next thought was to mount it to the back of the HDD cages, but this will be the first case mods I have ever done and am a little nervous TBH. Just making a custom bracket so I am sure a quick trip to home depot should solve that but still, I don't have it in front of me so my mind is just racing with ideas. So I am just trying to gather as much info as I can before I start this massive project. Thanks for any and all help you can provide.

yeah theres people that have a few issues with the window , usually rainbowing or just a foggy kinda colour when you shine LED's through it so instead of seeing through it with lights on it acts like frosted glass in some areas.. I think the last one that had a really issue with it just sent pictures to the reps and it was eligible for RMA , check with the reps though if you think its worth going that route.

I would have waited and asked first about the res. honestly. I have a 160 verson and it's a tight fit with all the other stuff. you should have gotten that one tongue.gif Sorry if that's not exactly what you wanted to hear, just WAY easier to mount if you have a lot of gear or a thick rad. at the top

also look in my log in the sig for what an EATX MB looks like in there. it's really not bad. EATX's use the same ATX standoffs BTW

Well it isn't & it's probably common. I am going to look into it....

Ha yeah you are right, and I had a feeling that the 250 was going to be massive in this case since most looked like they had used the 160. But it is very good to hear that the EATX and the ATX use the same standoffs, it gives me hope! I haven't ordered all the WC parts yet, still trying to fine tune them all and get the best I can for my setup. What rad are you using? I am looking at the Black Ice SR1 which thankfully is only 54mm thick + 28mm for a fan (not doing p/p) + 250mm for the res and we are left with a decent amount of theoretical room. Key word THEORETICAL ha. I am sure I can make this work though, I was just really worried I would have to make a custom bracket to mount it with which would have messed up my plans for another 240 rad up front when I go SLI 670s. Also, when you mounted your res did you just use some sheet metal screws on it or did you do something fancy?

If you have an E-ATX motherboard you will use the ATX holes and only those, you will probably have 3 standoff holes that are unused. The next size up that the Switch has holes for are much larger than E-ATX. My guess is the motherboard will cover part if not the entire grommeted holes closest to the motherboard (if you still need to visualize it).

What I did to mount my reservoir was modify some metal brackets so the holes lined up for the reservoir to screw into. Then I pop riveted them into the cable routing holes closes to the HDD and 5.25" drive bay. I then cut the grommets to fit (think I end up just taking 1 "segment" from them).

Hope this helps.

I also have the SR1 up top, but what pump will you run, because bigger pumps will reduce your space even more...
