looking at a swiftech MCP35x. How do you like the sr1? I was going with it so I could use low RPM fans, I want it quiet as possible. Thankfully I planned on getting extra 90* fittings so that may help me out when the time comes ha

And I was just actually looking at your frost build before I passed out last night, almost went for the same color scheme myself. Ended up going with a "poison" theme, green on black, instead becuase I couldn't find a dark red hose I liked and didn't want to use dye. Also you did exactly what I want to do when I SLI, 240 rad up front over the intakes

1) When installing the mobo, all the holes are labeled according to what size mobo you have. I'm looking at getting the gigabyte sniper 3 e-atx and have run into a little hiccup with my build. Looking at the case on newegg (mine is still shipping ATM) I am having a hard time determining how much room the e-atx board will take up. There seems to be a list for what labels are for what holes, but maybe I'm just retarded and can't figure it out. Do all the ones labeled E mean they are for the e-atx boards? from the picture it looks like e = SSI EEB? or something like that, it starts to blur when I zoom. this leads me to my next question...
Already have ordered my 250 Liquid Fusion Res from frozenQ and am eagerly awaiting its arrival. When mounting this res, do you guys have any suggestions? When I bought it I had come to the conclusion I wanted that res no matter what, and if it didn't mount/fit I would make it. Have been thinking more and more about this because the original plan was to mount it behind the HDDs on the back panel next to the mobo... but as you can see from my last question that may not be feasible anymore. So my next thought was to mount it to the back of the HDD cages, but this will be the first case mods I have ever done and am a little nervous TBH. Just making a custom bracket so I am sure a quick trip to home depot should solve that but still, I don't have it in front of me so my mind is just racing with ideas. So I am just trying to gather as much info as I can before I start this massive project. Thanks for any and all help you can provide.

Have that mobo and had an internal res but there just want enough room. You have about an inch above the power supply and about 2 between the right side and the hard drive cages. Your best bet is to take out the cages and then mount your res in that area. Actually that's prob you only
Option because if you choose to mount t between the mobo and cages tho it may he possible it will be entirely too cramped. I switched to bay res so I could keep a hard drive cage

love the SR1. I use GT AP-15's on it - very quiet! And I dont even have my fan controller back yet lol

You should be alright for space then with a 35x pump. I have a D5 so mine is very large. you may be fine with a 250.

Hey crazy have u seen the new bitfenix recon controller, you should scratch that next one and pick that up. For a touch controller it looks pretty dope!

Ok 2 things. First, how do you like the mobo? Second, I have thought about that same scenario and I have accepted I may need to lose those cages but I am going to do everything in my power to try and keep at least 1 of them. Originally was going to get the dual bay res from Q but then I still lost my bay space, so we will see how this works instead.

Ok thanks, I was hoping the 35x was going to work well. The specs made it seem like a space saver, I just have to figure out how I will mount it (vertical or horizontal). Really depends on the res lol. And do you have that same problem people are complaining about with a humming/whining noise on the AP-15's? I am torn between the cougar 120s and the AP-15s and the noise complaints are what is pushing me towards the cougars.

Using the thermal paste it came with, even though I have Artic Silver 5. Don't think it'll do much. So I guess I'll save it until I need it later on.

Thank for the temps results. thumb.gif The thermal paste of the H100 itself is recommended to use as I heard from the reviews.

FirstL heck yeah i love the mobo makes me J!$$ everytime i look at it. Like the first time opening the box i was so giddy it wasnt even funny smile.gif now i know everyones like hey its just another motherboard but man spending that much money one something like that and like how much im spending on all of my computer makes it so special to me beacause i dont have that much money biggrin.gif well im not poor, but i gotta buy everything myself tongue.gif. I havent really tested it though, i have the cpu otw and it should arrive tomorrow so then i will actually power up this bad boy and look over all of its abundant features!!
Secondly yeah i had a 400ml ek multioption res and i wanted so bad for it to work inside of the case but honestly there is literally no way you can fir them, 2 radiators and 2 hard drive cages. let alone 1 cage. so i changed it to a bay reservoir so i could keep atleast one of my cages.

hope this helps! biggrin.gif

thanks

biggrin.gif thought u might like em. If the sentry is the one im thinking of it looks a little silly imo, but the reason i really think this one would lokk good with any s810 is because of the ruberized bezel, just like the edges(black parts) on our cases!
