this can work the other way too, I can't speak for the rest of bitfenix stuff. I think these days most multi purpose companies have some great kit and some poor kit and we as consumers are only as usefull as the kit we have to boast/slate.

But if you read around a picture can be built up about certain items which are bad and which are good. It is true though that if you get a bad product from somewhere it taints the brand but for me I've had to change this ethos and look hard at the product. as an example. I swear by Corsair PSU's (well the seasonic ones) but I had a 700D and a really bad time with it - I wont touch their cases till the next generation, (I know they are better but meh....I was scorned) I also had a k90 and hated it but I still bought an M60. The build quality is great but it hurts after an hours play... in two minds about it. I wont go off corsair but I will be picky about what I buy from them..

however I've never bought anything from nzxt so I sit here on the fence undecided...... wink.gif

True speak. I hadn't bought anything from them either until my girlfriend bought me this case as a present, and I ofcoarse like it, then my gf bought a nzxt power supply for her computer, and either of us have had no problems so as far as I'm concerned nzxt sits good in my book. Most companies do I haven't had really any problem with an products that I spent a significant amount of money on. Well.. Swiftech radiators we're the worst thing ever, and a razed headset. Everything else is a ok smile.gif

Xnine, I think you guys are a great investment by NZXT.

I asked about being able to get a second louvered top so that I could have one with the mesh mod and another with cutouts for my 38mm fans setup. XNine took care of me, and a whole top panel assembly arrived yesterday. More than I asked for and courtesy of NZXT.
Took about 3 weeks, so have patience
It just does not get any better than that in the computer parts world.
Thanks again XNine,
Darlene

420 will provide significant gains over the 360.

In my e-mail to RMA support at NZXT I included a picture of the exact panel I needed. As I said before it wasn't the damaged panel, just a picture I found on google. This one, to be exact.

This is not what they sent me. I opened the box today to find that they had sent me the entire top of the case.
I love NZXT. Don't think I'll be buying another brand for cases anytime soon. This gives me so many more options for customizing it I can't decide what to do.

I guess I'll wait for it to come out, do you know the expected release date?
Also, hmm $32 seems a bit too much for lighting.. could use that money on Steam Summer Sales <3
Is the Superflux LED super bright? It sounds like it is rolleyes.gif Is there a way to change brightness?

I wouldn't say its a prototype and I would say soon. wink.gif

Just a thought, but if the fan blade broke and ended up jammed against the back frame for a moment it could have knocked the other two off.

I just wanna update everyone about my bitfenix fan problem. Late last night I was emailing back and forth with xbournex (Bitfenix rep) and I sent him some pics of the fan and where it was installed. It was installed in the middle of the top 3 fans and it sits directly above 2 cross bars. He thinks that those cross bars might have a slight arch upwards and the fan blades made contact which caused them to break off. After closer inspection I would have to agree with him (what else would cause 3 blades to snap off) and he suggests trying to shim the next fan up from the case a little bit. My Phobya 420 rad came with 3 rubber fan silencer thingies and I'll try using one when the new fan arrives. Thanks xbournex, I appreciate the lightning quick service. thumb.gif

I got them off of ebay for about 1/4 the price of similar led strips made by computer parts manufacturers. I got 2 120cm strips, they are very flexible and waterproof and can be cut to length for $9.87 CDN with free shipping from Hong Kong. They don't come with any connectors on them so I had to order some molex pins and soldered them to the ends. They come with double sided tape on them and I have this strip stuck to the top plastic shroud. The second strip lights up the case interior.
