So, I've marked out all the parts I'll be grabbing for my Switch 810 build, and it will be a bit different from anyone else's. Not that I really strive to make it that way, but I have a theme in mind and no one else has done it yet, so, chicks are gonna dig it.

Now, when my girlfriend asks how much I'm spending to do this, I'm gonna have to lie, lol.

I'm going to tell her the truth, and continue to lie to mine.

I will have to say that 480 looks amazing biggrin.gif

I figure next check or so I will be picking up a 240 and stick that in my loop, I think the watercooling bug has bit me!

Evensen your computer specs are still showing that you are using your old raven case still. rolleyes.gif

It fits, but I couldn't mount the rad to the top because the holes didn't line up.

You can see there is room for 90* fittings and a fan.

The holes don't line up, but if you feel comfortable making them, it's def. possible.

I had to take the top off, (which was fairly easy) to mount the rad.
The rad is a TFC XChanger 480. Dimensions - 20.74" x 4.84" x 2.44" LxWxH (527x123x62mm)
Maybe If the rad was a tad bit shorter, a 480 can be installed with out removing the top to install it? Thought Id share my little experiment. thumb.gif

Whoa bro! drool.gif You gonna send me one of your 480's for mine?? cheers.gif

Why you gotta hurt my feels bro? Fine, updating it.

Gotta say, running my Swiftech 3x120 rad with the 1x120 rad is bringing me the same temps that I had on 2 separate loops on my previous build with 2 D5 pumps, 1 4x120 rad and 1 3x120 rad.

I know this is OCN "Overkill Constantly Network", but less is more if the results are the same. Once I add another 7970 to the loop I think I will still be fine with my radiator situation. Less = cleaner setup as well.

Sometimes simplicity is the best way to go. And, designing for minimalism is harder than not. It's odd, but to make something so organized and clean cut takes so much time. I think you're making the right choice! thumb.gif

This seems a huge upgrade from a HAF X in watercooling options. The haf is making me angry with top space, fan holes and general support.
