I think it would look really good in the 810 switch and paint the faceplate white to match.

What I did is add a on/off valve at the lowest point, and capped it. Then, when I need to drain the loop, I uncap it, attach a piece of tubing to it with a barb and hit the ON position. Then I pull the top LED from my reservoir to create a vacuum and all the water drains. You can see it in this post:

I was going to switch my case up to a Corsair 800D from my current Corsair C70 but after watching a few video reviews on this case i might be sold on it.

They have a few in white and black in stock at my local Microcenter so i can buy 1 tomorrow if i wish but i have a few observations to make.

This case needs to hold a bunch of water cooling equipment that i ordered as follows -

XSPC EX360 Crossflow Triple 120mm Low Profile Split Fin Radiator-

I am mounting this on the roof of the case but it looks like the top 5.25 tray blocks half the fan. I have a cross flow rad with a port on both ends so how am i going to get tubing back there with out coming in on a crazy angle ?

ex-rad-408.jpg

XSPC EX360 Multiport Triple 120mm Low Profile Split Fin Radiator

I planned on mounting this to the rear of the case and the only way for me to get the tubing in to the case would be through the supplied 4 rubber grommets. I noticed they are slightly offset-ed to the right of the rear exhaust fan mount so hopefully i can angle them and keep a smooth line for the best flow.

Bitspower Water Tank Z-Multi 150 Res -

BP-WTZM150P-BK_01.jpg

I need a place to mount this so i would like any ideas from fellow 810 owners where that place could possible be.

As for the pump this is the model i have -

7632479494_7a0d2efbfb.jpg

I don't see any solid footing on the bottom of the case to mount this or am i not looking hard enough ?

Did you get a 240 or 320? The pic doesn't match the description lol. I'm guessing 320 since you are asking about the 5.25in bays.

As for the res, most of us mount it between the 5.25 bays and the motherboard. using either the existing grommets or drilling small holes for the supports.

Its a 360 lol sry i put 240 by accident.

I may have to return the crossflow for another multiport so i don't have to run tubing that close to the 5.25 bay.

I have checked through almost every page and have not seen any run a rad on the rear of the case so if i do go with this case at least i can provide some more insight on that.

I still have a feeling like i would have more room to work with if i go with a 800D so with that said they are both in stock at Micocenter so i will make my choice tomorrow.

The switch has nice and up to date features but its obvious i need a lot of room to mount everything in a efficient manner. The switch might not be able to provide that esp with no solid footing on the bottom for a res which is where i would like to mount it.

For example -

If you look here i can mount the pump in the psu heat zone or on the tray above it with double sided Velcro oppose to the Switch where i have no where to bolt or stick it 2.

corsair_800d_2.jpg

$$ is not an issue so if i really need to go with the 800D i will but i am very impressed with the Switch so far but it might just come up a little short for me.

I will update tomorrow..

Its possible i can go with a bay res and put some form of gel padding on the floor and mount the pump on that because i will be honest guys i am loving this case in white.

ex-res-272.jpg

And then mount the pump as follows -

On this

ex-pmp-136.jpg

Or

ex-pmp-139.jpg

Or return my pump and res and a do a res/pump combo because that's the only solution i can see to really clean things up here.

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/13884/ex-res-300/XSPC_Dual_525_Bay_Clear_Reservoir_-_w_D5_Variant_Pump_Installed.html?tl=g30c97s152&id=yKQZcLjC&mv_pc=2691#blank

Should i stick with the included Alphacool pump or upgrade 2 a MCP655 ?

There are several locations to stick a res or pump in an 810 if you get creative. A lot of folks also like the bay reservoirs. It all depends on how comfortable you are doing simple mods.
As far as a 360 rad being partially blocked up top, there is an easy solution for that if you don't mind cutting that tray up top. I cut half of mine, leaving a good place for a fan controller with no or very minimal interference to air flow.
Check my build log for some ideas.

EDIT: I have my D5 mounted on one of those double sticky foam pads that came with the pump.
