I wish my case was matte black, thinking about plasti dipping the outside after using it on my car grille it was incredibly easy to use and easy to peel off. I have the white version but it really bothers me how the side panels don't really match the color of the front panel or top panel plastics

Making a slot with a dimple isn't nearly as easy as making a hole with a dimple. ( from a near equal strength perspective )
If you look carefully at the pics, you can see that I removed not just the cross webs, but all the of the rolled edging and dimples. (disc grinders are wonderfull tools)
Removing the dimples and rolled edging, which brought the rad up flat against the top plate, gave me about 3 mm more space above the mobo, which is enough clearance for the 8 pin and 4pin EPS connectors, even with fan guards installed.
What I would suggest that they offer, would be an alternate top assembly, (the Diva 420 kit) especially for use with 140 fan sized rads, using a flat plate without cross webs, rolled edges, or dimples. Just have slots that start at the front fan position, shifted forward 10mm from the original hole position, then the middle fan's slot would be 15mm, and the back fan's slot would be 20mm, and a new plastic top assembly to match the more forward fan position.
A top assembly like I describe, and there's no more issues with rad fittings or EPS connectors and every 420 would pretty much be a drop in like the 360's are now. I mean like how cool would that be!

and yea, I have access to a lathe and mill when I need them.
Ah, I see what you're saying. Yes, that makes sense.

my white is pretty darn good ,I was worried about the color difference before I bought it but linus ( linus tech tips) specifically mentioned that he was impressed with the color matching , the plastic parts are definitely more creme than the metal but the difference is pretty minor and the untrained eye wont see it ( but you will lol )

Hey guys. I just snapped in my two GPUs to my mobo. So hard to get them both in at the same time with the Crystal Link fittings. mad.gifmad.gif

How durable are the pins or w/e that get snapped in to the mobo? I kept feeling they might snap.

Also, what's the rule about touching them? Is it okay? I try to avoid it, but it happens sometimes when moving it around and attaching fittings.

Now, literally the only thing I'm waiting for are the mounting posts from XSPC.
Just waiting for a reply from customer service to see when they are getting shipped.
No name yet. =(

are you worried about weight? If so either ghetto rig supports or get a power color power jack. Idk about the pins tho

Nah, it was just when I was installing them. Since I'm SLI-ing with Crystal Link fittings, I had to line both cards up and snap them in. There were points when they weren't fully lined up, but I couldn't see, and I applied pressure. It felt awkward so I released. They were okay though.

I hope I can run some more tubing today.

Yep, that sucks. I knew this would probably happen. Could have saved what I spent on shipping at newegg. Would have arrived a day late, but I didn't get a chance to pick it up anyway today. :/

ive worked with crystal link fittings before but mine were flexible enough ( lengthwise , like could go short enough ) that I put the cards in individually and then screwed the link in and tightened it.. depends how close together your cards are though otherswise you put them together with the link but dont tighten the middle section so it can still stretch so its easier to put the cards in and then tighten the middle , the problem is if you tighten the middle and the cards arent seperated perfectly right it will feel like you have to pull at the cards to get them in.. the connector where it plugs in isnt super fragile except for the corners but at the same time it should be really easy to plug the cards in.. Something like an EK bridge makes it a lot easier and safer because it really bricks your cards together and at the perfect separation..
