i do, it works?

easy... easy..

As for the question I have a 420 in the top and I COULD put a 140 in the back but it would be very hard with the motherboard, etc. I would honestly say if you drop a 420 on top and was a 140 then step drill out 2 holes in the back of the case where the 420 rad would mount. (Obv level the holes to where you could put two 90 degree fittings sticking out) Route the tubing out the back of the case and through the water grommets would be a save and easy bet. OR!!!... or!! Mount a 140 rad on the outside if the case and route the tubing elsewhere. Otherwise my guess would be you would be fighting cabling, wiring, tubing, motherboard bridges, water blocks, gfx cards, etc. Just all kinds of stuff trying to muck with it to fit correctly. Or your name is Darlene and some how the tubing bend to your every will like it was made that way. biggrin.gif

Here is an idea my buddy had on his build using a product called UChannel. Some might have heard of it and other not so much. UChannel is basically a rubber outlining in the shape of a U in a long strip like a channel. UChannel. It's used to cover up rough areas and sharp edges as it is a TIME SAVER rather that grinding and sanding down every bur you come across. Here is a before and after of my buddy's case when he cut out some mesh that was in the way.
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Step 1: Examine location before project and determine safe alternatives before modding.(Though I prefer modding regardless. whistle.gif) Notice the sharp angel of the tubing. Not very desired and looks like crap imo.

Step 2. Measure length(s) required for UChannel. (Notice how rough or coarse all the edges are. This would be a hefty project in a small location with a snake + drimmel. Not to mention you could wear away the paint job and finishing.

Step 3: Fill in Uchannel and you're good to go! You can add some form of cement or adhesive is desired but it is not needed. Now it looks sexy and saves time on buffing out those burs and rough edges! thumb.gif

All credit and pictures go to Batanga: http://forums.d2jsp.org/user.php?i=244675
(His build is not complete but he is recording a build log.)

Yup I used the U-channel "grommet" when I swapped out the stock window for an clear acrylic piece. I think it makes it look much better and just the rough edges.

I have an RX360 on top with the fittings towards the back and a 140 mm fan in the back exhaust .. If I put the fan at the lowest it can go on the exhaust I could maybe fit a thin 140mm rad there , the only thing in the way in my case is the fittings on the 360 , so if I flipped the rad to have forward facing fittings there would be just enough room ... Just make sure you dont have heatsinks on the motherboard that are high enough that the fan would hit them .

The problem comes when you try to do a 420 (not 360) up top with a 140 rad in the rear. I currently have an ex420 in the roof of my switch with a 120 rad at the rear and there is no room for anything bigger and ex420 is not a thick rad.

i do, it works?

Show pics. I doubt this is possible. Must have done some neat modding.
