But consider that I was only running one of them. The fans I chose to go with are Scythe SY1225SL12SH 120mm "Slipstream" (the 110.3cfm edition). I have 5 of them installed and just to give you an idea, 5 of those (at full speed) are quieter than a single ultra kaze at full speed. The ultra kaze is so fast that it can literally float at full speed. What I like about the fan controller I choose is that you can completly turn off the fans if you want to. With the one you've linked you have to run at least at %40 the speed plus it's only a 5 fan controller.

Hummm maybe do a hovering switch build lol. Im leaning more towards the sentry mix which is 6 channel 50w controller and looks a lot better.

love the gelids! @protzman how did you make that psu cover? Looks really nice, I would like to get or make one of my own...

here is the quick version:
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
for tools i went out and picked up a heat gun and i used my fathers table saw for the cutting. pretty simple actually.
just mostly did it all by eye, no real technical measuring! i kinda figured out how far from the mobo tray to about where the psu comes out, then the height. so i measured off the table the top surface height and then clamped that done with the rest ( the vertical part) hanging over the table. applied the head gun and let gravity do most of the work then when the acrylic got really flexible i would just take it off and put it up against a right angle surface ( like a wall for example, though i just used 2 pieces of wood).

Hope this helps!

Actually, this really helps and seems easy enough to do. I actually have all the tools - aside from the table saw - but I think the heat gun is what is most important here. Man, I wish I had my dispersion thing still :|

I'm pretty sure I could use a drem if I go at it slow and take my time. I may do this if I find time. I have already started on parts for my scratch built case, so maybe not. Who knows.

OK, Kinda OT, I just wanted to post something up here someplace because this was cool.

I had an issue with a product I got from PPCS. The duel LED I got sent with my CPU block for the Raystorm was defective. I figured I would write a nice email to PPCS and let them know about the problem. I asked if they could maybe send me a replacement. I joked around that my CPU block looked like a car with a headlight out and I nicknamed it Popeye.

Not only was my email responded to within less than 30min, it was responded to with a personal telephone call to apologize for the issue. An hour later I received an email with tracking number for a replacement part.

Amazing service to make my Switch look its best thumb.gif

XSPC needs to wire those LEDs right. I have never heard of LEDs going bad so quickly.
