If I were you, I would take the female side pins out and sleeve from there. If you're using MDPCX (like you should be smile.gif ), you just sleeve up to the male header, throw your heatshrink on, then put the female header back on and you're done. Easy. smile.gif

It's hard not to make a case like that. Lots of feedback and engineering went into making the new one. I don't know all of the details about the chassis, either, and what I do know I can't talk about until the NDA is lifted....
And don't worry, I feel your pain, yet, there's pleasure. I've changed cases more than any other piece of hardware in the last 5 years. I think the S810 is my longest lasting case in quite some time. Can't wait to tear everything out of it and put it in a new one.... I'm just like that lol

Guess I will wait to drill any holes or cuts in the S810 till I see the new one. Sleeving is gonna keep me busy for a while. My panels still have the plastics on them. For some reason I never took them off (well didn't want them scratched till the build was done)

I did order some MDPC, 100 ft white, and 100 ft black, my plan was to use the paracord for all the other suff which seems to be working so far. My first priority would be to sleeve the PSU cables with MDPC and use any left overs on the fan controller.

I used the above method on the case fans and all other case cables so far and like the results.

If I have to get more MDPC I will.

Wow now i just feel like a dummy, I have been postponing finishing my build for quite some time now because of ordering from mdpc because of the paypal thing, always thought you had to have money in you account before using it but just figured out it will just draw money from your bank account! So just ordered my sleeving which was the last thing i needed, so....

hopefully i can "officially" join the club next week even though i have had the case since it came out biggrin.gif

Hi all,

Looking through this and several other posts but wanted to hear from some actual owners of the case:

Which 3x140 420 radiators screw directly into the case without having to drill holes?

Also, will a 2x140 280 radiator fit mounted in front of the power supply where the two fan cutouts are? I was under the impression these fit 140mm but from the first page they only make mention to 240's instead when mounting on the bottom.

Appreciate helpful input.

HardwareLabs Black Ice GT Stealth and SR-1 420 both fit without modification. Any other 420 rad with 20mm fan spacing should fit as well.

If your looking to go with a thicker 420. The Black Ice GT Xtreme 420 Radiator is the same size as the Stealth, just 60mm thick. So it should fit without any mods.

Sort of true . . . . But . . . .

All the mounting holes will line up and you can mount it in place without any mods.

Actually being able to make connections to it, can be an entirely different issue.

Far far easier to dril 8 new holes for the center and rear fan using a 420 with the more common 15mm fan to fan spacing than a 60mm thick Black Ice rad. . . . Unless you're an experienced modder with the tools and skills.

On the bottom, 240's fit with any size PSU, but the 280 likes a PSU that's 180mm or less, in length.

Very True. It was a tight fit with the 420 Phobya. I had connection problems because the rad was so huge. But if your handy with the tools, you can make it work. biggrin.gif

awesome responses... so the main emphasis of compatibility is 20mm fan spacing rads vs 15mm fan spacing rads.

Now wouldnt this also apply to the bottom slot? I'm not near the case at the moment but I'm assuming the fan spacing on the bottom of the case is probably also 20mm?
