Just got a black 810. Very impressed with the dimensions.

I will be using an H100 for my CPU and the rest of the case will be using fans.

Speaking of fans, I would like your guys' help figuring out a proper plan for airflow.

I was thinking about:

A - removing both HDD Bays and using the front panel fans as intake - rear fan as exhaust - and then push/pull (h100) out the top of the case. diagram

B - Keep both HDD bays in and use 140mm fans in front of the 140mm front panel fans - rear fan as exhaust - and again, push/pull out the top of the case. diagram

Do you think it will be more beneficial to have more open space (hdd bays removed) or more fan power pulling air in (hdd bays in place, total of 4 fans in front)?

4 fans in the front would be more beneficial. You will also be able to direct the airflow of the fans on the HDD bays (point them at the graphics cards).

I too have had the grommets stain my fingers, but I haven't seen it rub off on my white sleeved extensions at all.

My grommets turned my fingers, sleeving and white tubing all black streaks. I found its best to just take them out and clean them with windex or something before I build because they make a big mess.

That's a great idea too. Would also love to hear what xnine finds out.

That's crazy. Mine aren't that bad, I just notice it when I route cables through them.

Just wanted to post a bit of an update on my switch 810 build , it was my first watercooling build and I had to throw it together in the last couple days before being sent out to atlanta and then little rock for some training.. Now that im finally back in canada I was able to cut down my lengths of tubing , add the sleeved extensions and a couple more fans bringing my total to 10 x 120 mm and 4 x 140mm . Also , did a bit of work with some white Di-noc to see how id like it , will do a better job with it the next time I take the rads out of the rig but for now it makes the face of the rads and the PSU white instead of the overpowering black .!

Before :

After :

I know I still need to zip tie that LED strip , just dont have the ties yet .. Also next is going to be the acrylic to hide drive bays and PSU .
