From what I know, it was last shipped on tuesday and it was what the rep said. The website mentions it still being processed which is kinda lame.

Anyone have any experience in this scenario?
I ordered from nzxt armory and mine took about 7-10. Days to get here so you should be ok

Took the dremel to the 810 today. Cut the top of the drive bays out and also enlarged 3 of the holes for the top radiator. Also flushed both rads after test fitting and will be setting up and testing the loop in the morning. pics to come!

Edit: Found out my PSU is DOA! ***... Corsair is not winning any points with me right now. So much for my build getting done this weekend. question for anybody that has been in a similar situation. Do I RMA through Performance PC of Corsair? TIA

It's been a little while, but I've done a bit more on the 810 build that I wanted to share.

As you may recall, The dual bay Koolance res that was in the lower 2 bays originally intended for an external rad GPU loop, got moved to the external cooling module I built, so that all the GPU cooling setup is in one module.

One of the plusses of that move is that I recovered the use of the 2 bays again.

One went for the optical drive.

I know they aren't as frequently used as in the past, but still quite handy to have . . and with a big case like the 810, an external optical drive can be a pain. At least it was to me.

That left me with one more bay to fill.

My 38mm Koolance rad fans are run from a Lamptron FC9. . . . Four channels at 50W per chan rating. It can run 2 of them on a channel. I'm using 3 chans for the 5 big hi-speed 38mm fans.

The FC9 works in what might seem an odd way . . . in that it varies the negative voltage level with regard to the +12V rail.

What that translates to is that it won't let you monitor fan rpm, except at the maximum speed.

If you dip the slider below max, you loose the rpm reading on whatever you're monitoring it with.

Because of that, I never sought to put fan speed monitoring on my rad fans during the initial build.

However, . . . Since I used an FC9 on the external cooling module when I built that, and really wanted to monitor rad fan rpm, I figured out how to translate the tach signal to work with normal monitoring displays or with a mobo header, and built a little circuit board to do that in the cooling module.

Fast forward to the present, with an open bay and the technology to display the rpm from an FC9 controlled fan, and shazzaaaammmmm, match made in heaven.

Plus it gave me an excuse to make another little circuit board.

I went with the Aerocool X-Vision display. It's a 5 channel controller with rpm / temp displays. I really only need the rpm display function, but there are no "display onlys" available. The best feature for my needs is that it has all 5 chans displayed full time with large, brite characters, no need to switch between fans to get to the one you want to see.

Anyway, to get it all to work, I mounted the circuit board on a piece of acrylic cut to slide into the bay behind the X-Vision, and after making a pile of custom cables and sleeving them, plugged it all up.

Display Chan 1 is one of the 38mm fans on the lower 240 rad on chan 1 of the FC9
Display Chan 2 is one of the back pair of 38mm fans on top of the 420 rad on Chan 2 of the FC9
Display Chan 3 is the front 38mm fan on top of the 420 rad on Chan 3 of the FC9
Display Chan 4 is one of the alternate 25 X 140mm fans that can go on the top of the 420 rad, powered directly off the 12V supply
Display Chan 5 is the one of the permanent 25 X 140mm fans on the bottom of the 420 rad, powered directly off the 12V supply

I also came up with a nice trim bit for the tall fans, it's not quite a finished install yet, but it makes the extra tall fans blend in nicely with the case.

Pics are below,

Darlene

Here's a detail of the little circuit board:

Here's the board with the display to see how they go together in the bay:

Installed:

And the new top trim piece: I plan to have a lighted acrylic "belt" between the modded louvered top panel, and the new top grill.

And another update, rather unrelated to the first:

When I was first installing Windows and the Revo Drive's drivers, The HDD activity led plugged on the mobo was working.

Somehow, once everything was up and running, the HDD led was no longer working, and troubleshooting revealed it was no longer getting any drive from the mobo.

Whether it's a problem the mobo, or maybe it's not made to work with the Revo, . . . I wanted a way to have HDD activity indication.

So I made an optical pickup to sense the Revo's led, and translated that signal with one of the 4 chans that the IC on the little circuit board (above) contains, since I only needed 3 of the four to translate 3 chans of the FC9.

As some of you may recall, I made a nice little circuit board to scroll thru the colors of an RGB led to use as a one of a kind HDD activity indicator.

Here's a pic of the optical pickup. The sleeved cable below is the pigtail that the external cooling module plugs up to to recieve its "turn on - turn off" signals.

And a quick video of the HDD activity display while Windows starts. (with a bit of Rolling Stones in the background)

Wow. I'ma gonna copy all that work right NOW ! ... very nice work, and that top with the lighted strip is gonna be BOSS. Was that some casual lissening ... ? or a pointed tune ?? took me nearly to the end to pick up on the Cherry Oh! lyric. And is the fan noise on the video that much of a "noise" in person ? Looking GOOD !
