While this is true I have a molex to 3 pin fan controller down there at the bottom as my drive bays are all filled and I have a SSD that I want to velcro to the back of the panel. I'll hopefully pick it up tomorrow and have pictures up this weekend. Got to get this monster LAN ready in the next 2 weeks.

Ooooh, so you have 500,000 wires in yours too? LOL. I hear ya, then. It's tough to get all of that wiring under control. Even the best wire manager experts would have a hard time with that much wiring.

sup folk. new member here - also a new owner of this ridiculous case. anyway, i was wondering if i could fit a 420mm radiator on the top of this case with a asus z77 motherboard. the motherboard has the thermal armor which i absolutely love. i know its a gimmick, but can this be done? id prefer to keep that armor on.

I had the same question but as not many 420 rads fit the 810, I then just picked up a 360 one.

A lot of people have gotten 420s in the top. I think it only requires small modification. Just some drilling as I remember. I think there is even a list on the first page.

If you guys go to the very first page of this thread it lists what you might need to do to install a 420. 420s can be installed on the top and lot of people have done that. All you need to do is drill some holes for the rad and it will be fine.

HW labs 420 rads will allign with the holes on the case no issues for rads that use the 15mm spacing use the following template to figure out where u need to drill.

I have three fan controllers, one led controller, (all corsair) that I tried to install in the back area, alone with the motherboard power extension, 8 pin extension, enough 4 pin molex to power them all and I didnt think I was going to pack it all in. I cut it down to three case fans, four fans for the rx240 at the bottom doing a push pull, and three fans on the rx360 pulling out the top of the case, for a total of 10 fans, removing one of the fan controllers and it's tight. Wish there was just a little bit more room in the back. 1/4 to 1/2 an inch would mean the world. (Would love to see future models extend the case by another three inches so we can put a normal power supply with a 240 radiator in the bottom. Good thing the corsair ax850 is 6.3 inches...)

Yes you can fit a 420mm radiator up there but you may have clearance issues with your VRM's or 8 pin power connector depending on your motherboard IF you use a 60mm thick radiator. I went with a 45mm thick for safety. smile.gif Some rads fit natively but some will require drilling.

Nope. Some fit no prob others require drilling 8 holes. That's it. Super easy.

Again yes, super easy. Here is mine. I even eyeballed the holes tongue.gif. No biggie.
