Personally I really like the pliability of paracord but from everything I have seen MDPC is top notch. I am going with MDPC but unfortunately my total comes to just over $200 because I am going to completely re wire and crimp all my cables to custom lengths so it will have to wait for a few weeks till I put the order so I don't overextend myself this month. I can't stop spending. I like what I see one guy say here in the past. " My wife is probably going to murder me in my sleep".

Tell me about spending, I started on the sleeving project, and broke couple cables. I did not wanna make my own cables for some reason (too lazy), so I had moddiy.com make me cables for my X-1050 in all white, not sleeved or connected to the end connectors, this way I sleeve them and plug them in. I know if I make my own cables it will be a disaster.

Get this tool if you don't order it from MDPC. There is a sunbeam kit that is terrible so don't get that one.
Just FYI: The extra 2 pins on the AX1200 were the entire length of the PCI-E cable not the little "extension" cable. At least that was what it was like for me.
Edit: Added quote and response for jassilamba.

Yes sunbeam is terrible and I'm saying that from experience.

So they just cut and crimp the bare wires to custom length for you? Hmmmm that sounds like it would save me a lot of grief I may have to look into that? May also save me some money so I don't have to buy the crimp pins and crimping tool. biggrin.gif

Correct, I had them do the 24 PIN (60CM), CPU (80 CM), and 12pin to 8 + 8 PCIE (60cm), paid around 70 bucks shipped. Should be here soon will let you know how the quality is. With the seasonic its 18+10 = 24 Pin layout and that's why I had them do it. I have heard decent things about their work.

I had thought about making custom length cables, but that is a bit too much work even for me. So instead I am sleeving the stock cables to replace the corsair sleeved cables, as those are ish!

Any tools needed to take apart the sata, molex and usb connectors?

That's pretty awesome do you have a link for that item/service? I am going to look into it. I might end up doing it myself because I am sure this will not be the last and only psu I sleeve. My brother has a god awful old enermax with /puke yellow/black cables with red connectors. /puke again.

Also which country is moddiy based out of?

I need to do it for my build because I am a cable management freak and my build is just going to be that sweet. biggrin.gif Nothing bothers me more then a rats nest behind the motherboard tray. Compare it to that girl that you know who is gorgeous but is just an awful ugly person on the inside. You just can't bring yourself to like her no matter how sexy. That's how I feel about my computer when the back is like a rats nest.

That's why I am sleeving the stock cables. They barely fit biggrin.gif Not a lot of extra and if I am sleeving the fan cables and such I can adjust the wiring there as well.

This is the link for a corsair AX psu but as your read the description they do offer custom services. After exchanging couple emails back and forth I had my order in on Monday and it got shipped today. They are from hong kong. Their sleeving is not the best but looking at the pics of their work that looks great.

And if your PSU does not any overlapping or double wires like mine here is another interesting product from them (pre-crimped cables in custom length and 3 colors, white, black and yellow)

Thanks a bunch! thumb.gif This is a pretty awesome option I just might have to explore myself. I'll be waiting to hear your opinion once they arrive!

If you explore around on their website, you will find random cool stuff. Like stickers, covers, its like one of those stores that carry what I like to call, "Useless, yet very useful stuff."
