riveting plexi will definitely crack it, drill and tap or through bolt. And I have to agree with Darlene, socket head button screws are very classy.

It's just new folks asking the same old questions because they're too "instant gratification obsessed" to do their homework.

I go out of my way to help folks on a regular basis, but they have to have done their due dilligence first. I can not do it all for them, it's just way too wearysome, even trying.

It was different back when the switch was new, lots of things to be discovered about modding it . . . . much of it by trial & error, or experimentation.

The community was, by and large, a group of skilled modders trading info and ideas about a new canvas to work with.

Today, it's just a cookie cutter process of duplicating what has been done before, with marginally relevant details being debated ad infinitum.

This thread is over 900 pages, (at the default thread per page setting) and I'd bet that at least 700 of them can be filled exclusively with fans & lighting posts

No, I follow the thread to see what updates some of the more interesting, and earlier builds go thru as the builders have gained new skills and visions.

Darlene

I guess.

I do the same just hang out and watch the newer builds coming out to see anything new and interesting that might get done now that there is so much knowledge pertaining to the Switch 810 now. I have always loved reading your posts as they were to the point and very informative. Yeah at times you might say some off the wall stuff but that's what makes you the IT Diva wink.gif   But throwing out off the wall comments doesn't negate the fact that you do know your stuff. Unlike some other member that say things that are both off the wall and just plain wrong.  thumb.gif  Hope your having fun with your Switch and Phantoms and stay around. We need a momma bear to set of the kids here straight every once in a while.
You trying to zing me brohan?

I wish I could agree. I like the Switch but it's not the glory child everyone makes it out to be.

It would be a lot more effective if you did your due dilligence and researched how to put a video in your post.

But I'll do you a freebie here (assuming a youtube video):

When you're on the video's page,
click the "share" button below the video
then click the "embed" button
tick the size you want it to display at
then copy the highlighted text in the box that popped up when you clicked "embed"
Paste that text between the "[ VIDEO ][ /VIDEO ]" tags that appeared when you ticked the video icon

Yeah umm.. Meh? I know how to post a vid and it was late. So when I posted it and it barfed I like: "Meh, who *uck** cares." lol I'm too busy trying to figure out why my DayZ mod isn't working.

Oh look.. post now. *meh*

IMO, the best place for screws and such is ... http://www.fastenal.com

I simply love their black allen screws for mounting fans and such. The black actually is black and stays on.

That's what I'm going to use to mount the fans to the XSPC RX360 radiators. I've also ordered a bunch of #6-32 x 1/2 Black Oxide Finish Flat Socket Cap Screws to mount the 3 radiators to the Danger Den radiator stand.

@ Darlene - Those cards look really sick. Cant wait to see when they are all hooked up and under water. Also wanted to thankyou for all the guidance you provided during my fun trip from ripping my system apart to now having it up and running with no issues (so far)

Also this is my first post from the monster 810. Its up and running. Need to do the wire clean up, looks like the square pins work no issue on the X series power supplies.

Also I have prime running in the background for about 2 hours now with the cpu at 3.9GHZ (No overclock yet) and the cpu temps have not gone over 32 yet, ambient temps are around 23C/75F.

So far everything is stable and looking good. Once all the clean up is done, I will take come more pics and start over clocking.

Glad to have been able to be of help. thumb.gifthumb.gif

Nice to see it running smoothly.

Next paycheck and I'll be ordering the blocks and an outrageously expensive pile of Bitspower goodies to get them swimming.

Now if my spending a buch of cash is any predictor of things to come, as soon as I get them installed, the dang FC block will be announced.

You must have missed where I detailed how I planned to water cool them and put 2 slot brackets on them so they become 2 slot cards.
