It's gonna be my first time so...baby steps.
Res>Pump>360 Rad>CPU>120 Rad>GPU>Res
That will be the loop.
Will the setup be good enough to cool them?
Does loop order matter?
If so, how much?
Thanks.
=)

I would/did put a 240 so I could easily SLI in the near future. Leaves you allot of head room for later builds. As far as order, I was looking into that as well. I did a ton of research and someone explained it to me in a way that made a ton of sense. Hope I can explain it well. Your better, and easier, bet is to do the following,

res/pump-->360-->cpu-->GPU-->240-->res/pump..

I know, it sounds crazy, but having cooler water really does not matter. What we are doing is just moving the heat away with the water. So, as long as it is cooled before starting the loop again, it will be fine. It looks cool too. See my avatar pic.

Also, not sure how the stock waterblock from EVGA perform, but a cheeper route would be the following and it might work better.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130665

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/12305/ex-blc-852/EK_GeForce_570_580_GTX_VGA_Liquid_Cooling_Block_-_Acetal_EK-FC580_GTX_Acetal_Hot_Item.html?tl=g30c311s1351

Maybe someone else can tell use about the stock EVGA water blocks.

Hope this helps and I hope I am not wrong on anything.....biggrin.gif

@TheJesus

Well I'm really just getting the 3960X because I can. lol
And that's good to hear about the order not mattering much.

My pump is gonna be
http://www.frozencpu.com/products/6190/ex-pmp-54/Swiftech_MCP655_12v_Water_Pump_w_Speed_Control_and_38_Conversion_Kit_317_GPH.html?tl=g30c107s153

My res is gonna be
http://www.frozencpu.com/products/9576/ex-res-157/Bitspower_Water_Tank_Z-Multi_250_Inline_Reservoir_BP-WTZM250P-BK.html?tl=g30c97s165

I don't know if I should get a 240 Rad on the bottom because I want to mount the pump on the bottom too and don't know if I will have enough room for both.

@selluminis

I've been looking around to see what people have been saying about the block as well.
But it's cooled by Swiftech, and I'm pretty sure that's a good company.

And same thing about the 240 Rad as I said above. I want to but I feel that I won't have enough room.

The outer dimensions of the top are 8 3/4 wide by 22 1/4 long by my measurement. Thats to the outside, not the lid over the fans. Hopefully I didn't misunderstand what you needed.

Lol, if you want, feel free rolleyes.gif

Check out Performance-PCs for the pump, they're about $10-15 cheaper smile.gif (I know people have issues with them sometimes, but I haven't. People have issues with Frozen too, so whatever)

You don't like the FrozenQ helix res? tongue.gif That res would be fine.

I understand, if you wait a few days, I'll have the same pump you're getting and a 240 mocked up to see the room. Or maybe Scorpion49 can mock it up for us thumb.gif

WIth a 240 rad at the bottom, there is no room to mount a pump on the bottom too... at least it doesn't look like it to me right in front of me. My pump is at the left, with the reservoir top. I used velcro strips to stick it to the power supply and the back of the case. Spot works for me.

Unless you already have the pump and res... Forgive me if I missed that above.
