Nope, I'm not running any dye just distilled water as it gives the best results (don't just take my word for it). Just the tubing is white.

Also I just posted a link to specialtech.co.uk in my previous post for the 360 kit.

Sorry I haven't been around much in the last week. A dead SSD and practicals/finals have taken up a majority of my time. I haven't even seen my girlfriend since... Sunday Morning? Yeah. Anyway, nice to see everyone's builds coming together.

Darlene, nice standoffs for the fans. I like it better than what I did in my 820. Maybe I'll have to steal that from you. biggrin.gifthumb.gif

Well guys and gals,

I got my 2 140mm rads(slim magicools) yesterday and today I got my norprene tubing. You think I should put my pastel purple back in or just some regular distilled with some purple dye in it?

If only the case was 1/4" taller. wink.gif

or if only they made a slim fan that wasn't overpriced.

I like them much better than studs.

The only time studs are your only option, is when you have 20mm shrouds plus 38mm fans, and there are no standard screw lengths that long.

The lower 240 rad in my 810 build is an example.

Darlene

Studs work a lot better if you put jam nuts on them so thet don't have a tendency to screw further down into the rad, (causing damage) as you put the nuts on them. (especially where I'm using nylocks)

You can see the larger diameter relief hole area where the stud comes up thru the shroud for the first 1/4" or so to accomodate the jam nuts.

I'm loving the orange. Might do something similar for my next build.

Between, just picked up a 27" 2560*1440 IPS from MicroCenter for $ 339.00 (well technically in-store pick up is ready). Finally get to put some of the 690 power to use.

I have a 120 fan doing the job temporarily in my build while I wait for the grill to show up (Look bottom right).

I have a question for you which is offtopic.gif . Is Fosters (Australian for beer) sold in Australia.

Used to be made here but not anymore i believe smile.gif think it was sold off 15 years ago to overseas.

I uploaded an image from my phone not sure if it worked. Of how much took I got lol..

Wait, aren't you using the ek mobo block for formula V?

Anyway had the same problem, even tried to use the slim schyte fan which is only 2cm thick (this thing is noisy as hell!)
Now I'm left with 3 pull fans only frown.gif
