Wait, aren't you using the ek mobo block for formula V?

Anyway had the same problem, even tried to use the slim schyte fan which is only 2cm thick (this is is noisy as hell!)
Now I'm left with 3 pull fans only frown.gif

I need to put a new pic, but the EK blocks are not an issue. The things that I had to worry about were the CPU power, and now the PWM header. I plan to put the fan grills up tomorrow. Promise I will take pics...

I'm going to go with koolance thin push pool. Keep life simple and neat. I have the RX360, it kept my system cool, but cleaning and maintenance is a pain.

Hallelujah!! Finally managed to fit my 360 60mm thick rad into my case with 25mm fans!! Slight mod was done sanding/shaving back the fan shroud and using a fan grill to help keep the 8pin CPU connection obstructing the fan... I know that sleeving cables yourself will give most flexability with cables and that is something i plan on doing some time in the new year, but a any recommendations for really high quality "flexible sleeving"?

Here are some pics of my rad thick rad fitting in a NZXT switch 810 and with a rampage IV extreme!!!!! Happy days thumb.gifbiggrin.gif

I only added one fan as i know the others will fit lol, just that first one was a real pain in the ass!! I also cut out that top plate that couldn't be removed as you will see in one of the pictures below.. I still need to angle grind it down a bit more as i only use tin snips..

I also need to screw 2 more holes on the right side of the case to screw in my res properly, I managed to line it up on the left side and screw it in but its making it uneven on the right side, And too be honest it doesn't even touch the other side of the case, it has about a 3mm gap? ideas?

I'm happy with the cables they were all the perfect size. I ordered the CPU power cable in 80 cm as normally they are about 60. The pins used by them are really good quality and really easy to work with (all gold plated pins). The pins that came with my MDPC crimper are not gold plated.

If you look at the seasonic forum (link in my sig) the last page has some pics of the sleeved 24 pin.

What PSU do you have.

Presently I'm making my own cables as I made the mistake of not ordering the 24 pin or the pcie longer than the stock 60 cm. (i placed my order for pins and connectors with MODDIY again)

Here are some random pics ...

I just bought a Seasonic x850. Sleeving it is nice since it's fully modular, but the whole "29 Pin to 24 Pin" connector idea was really, really, really asinine. More points of failure for a PSU. Just make a 24 Pin connector for christ's sake.

Other than that, I absolutely adore the PSU. Looks nice, has optional fan modes, no useless wiring to clutter a case. I'll never go semi-modular again.

I agree. Working with a modular is something else. My very first home built was using a fully modular and I will never use anything else. I have done friends with non modular and wow does it ever suck doing cable management.
