Yep, your right on that, I'm still waiting on a response from them. I hope they will help me and not charge restocking fee. I got the wrong fans as well. I wanted to get the 140 LB 2000RPM. I got the 1300 RPM fans. I'm so angry with myself.

IME fcpu has pretty bad customer service. I try to stay away from the but still do order if I can't get what I want elsewhere.

Strong words, never ordered from them. I have ordered from Jab Tech in the past and PPCS, no issues. Given I never had to deal with the customer support so far.

Its sad when companies don't care about after sales support.

Dont be, we all make mistakes. Atleast its not too expensive of a rad.

Another way you can try installing it is on the front (where the front fans are) but you will loose the drive bays. I have a Rad installed in that spot and I had to bend the metal that is in the way down so that I can get a better fit for the Rad.

It matches a few of the holes but takes up a lot space.
The fan plate on the right gets in the way because of the fins.
This is the item I need http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=380501392679
This is the one I have

Opps, yea, . . .my bad . . .

Coffee first, . . . then try to help folks .

With the 280's . . You do have to notch out the front fan area just a bit:

It's really not a tough mod to make, and it's been done with nice build logs to help you see what needs to be done.

Here's pretty much a step by step . . . From post #32 and onwards:

Thanks to mironccr345 for the build log, great pics, and detailed writeup. thumb.gifthumb.gif

I could always just leave and not screw it in, but it eats some space for my PSU. I'll look at that build log you posted for ideas.

I forgot to mention, I looked at FrozenCPU return policy:

Quote:
What if I ordered the wrong item?

If you realize you have ordered the incorrect item, you have 7 days time after delivery of the order to return a product for a refund/store credit. A 20% restocking fee is applied to all returned products for a refund/store credit. Please note that the customer is responsible for shipping said items back to our offices and the original shipping price cannot be refunded. We will only accept items for a return if they are still packaged and in acceptable return condition. Otherwise, items will be shipped back to the customer.

Liquid cooling products, custom or customized products, cases and test benches are returnable for repair or replacement only.

I realized, they don't do Liquid cooling products. I hope this wont be true in my case.

I'm hoping for a refund and so I can order the items, but they don't have the items I need in stock, so I will need to order it elsewhere.

Edit: h100i rad is 27mm thick. Typical fans are 25mm so you have 77mm of thickness and IIRC that space is right around 85mm. Even that would leave you another 25mm under the top vent cover.

mine is EK rad 64mm plus 25mm - 89mm !!! clearance is 90mm. no worries!~ thumb.gif

I personally have had nothing but top notch CS from them, they let me return hose clamps, primochill tubing (unopened, read about plasticizer problems after I ordered) and some fluidxp distilled dyed water stuff that had floaties in it... They won't dock you the 20% if you take merch credit, if you need cash that may be another story.
