Getting a 570.. which one..

so on newegg I see a couple GTX 570's..

EVGA stock clock 1280 card.. but its a "KR" so not lifetime warranty.. 320 free shipping

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130613

EVGA superclocked 340

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130595

and the gigabte rev2.. would this rev 2 but the best option? I dont know the differences between a rev2 and the first versions.. 325

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125384

then theres the EVGA 2g card.. I will only be running 1x 1920x1080p monitor so 1g should be fine for vram even on bf3..

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130687

the card will be mostly run for BF3.. and that only.. so kind of lean your choice on that..

im mainly concerned with the rev2.0 thing..

your response is very confusing. you would waste no time thinking and get the superclocked? or dont waste your time by getting it..? lol

get the superclocked, i had two "HD" cards with the smaller board and middle fan and they both died. they sent me this superclocked and i've been running strong since then thumb.gif

Well, what you need to consider is airflow. What case do you have?

If you have a case that has a mesh side panel, or tons of exhaust fans, you may consider getting the Gigabyte. I use the MSI 560ti Twin Frozr II, and it spills heat into my case with load temps <70C for BF3. This is fine for me, as my entire side panel is mesh, and I have tons of air constantly moving. I would much rather have all my components be semi-warm than have a graphics card that is on fire.

My previous EVGA 470 was designed like the 570 in the second EVGA link. The card ran much louder and much hotter than the MSI, although it isn't a completely fair comparison since the 500 series is much more efficient than its predecessor.. but hopefully you get the gist of my idea.

TL;DR:
well ventilated case? get a graphics card with a cooler similar to that of the gigabyte model
not-so-good ventilation? get the stock EVGAs

i have a cooler master HAF 932, case is huge, plenty of mesh, plenty of fans, etc..

I posted the KR on the list already man.. please read it.. it only has a 3-5 year warranty.. and as stated to the other people, ide like the evga warranty and step up program.

Which ever you choose it will still be a 570. You'll love it either way! thumb.gif
