Try using the ones that came with your card. I'm sure there will be a revision released on amd.com soon enough.
make sure you got your directx 11 updated there my friend, and yes i would vote for a clean windows installation if updating your drivers to the offical drivers didnt work. since you got such a beast card, i dont think a clean windows installation would bother you much (if i was in your shoes i would do the impossible to get this baby to work) biggrin.gif good luck smile.gif

Well, DiRT3 runs fine maxed out. GTA IV skips really REALLY badly (no idea why). Heaven bench seems like it skips too...but that could be because I was running in windowed mode.

I didn't get any drivers with the card sadly. I bought the card from an OCN member in Seattle today, and while I was over there.....I forgot to ask him for the disc. doh.gif Got everything else though.

If your running things using Steam, do a verify game integrity.

I had that problem when switching from the green side, where some games work and some stutter like crazy/crash.

... I don't know if this applies to you though since you have other programs that's also have issues.

Well, so far my biggest problem is GTA IV now. Heaven is running fine, DiRT3 is running great. I haven't tested anything out. I just got home at 11pm from the drive over there to pick all this stuff up (drove to Seattle to buy the card and the 30" monitor from an OCN member).

Will update if I find more games that don't work right. Like I said, so far its just GTA IV that I know of (out of 3 things I've tried so far).

GTA IV has microstuttered on me ever since I got a 2500k.

Now you say it's because of the video card but you still may be experiencing the same issue. I fixed it by going to the 1.0.4.0 patch. 1.0.7.0 (or whatever the newest is) stuttered on me like CRAZY.

Also use High shadows on 1.0.4.0 not Very High. (Reduces stuttering furthermore)

tl;dr I doubt your card has a problem, it's that game.

yeah but he isnt just complaining of that game only. if we are talking about GTA IV, well.. let me tell you that right next to me a friend's rig, i7 2700k, 16GB ram, TWO GTX 590s in Quad SLI, x2 128GB ssds in raid 0 and the game still lags, i would blame the slow ass cores of the gtx 590 cuz its very well known that GTA IV doesnt support SLI/crossfire

I do believe in his latest post he did in fact say GTA IV was the only thing giving him a problem now, out of the things he's tried.

Also his problem isn't fps lag, it's stuttering. Resembles frame skipping and is a very common problem with this game.

Also the reason your friend with the dual 590's lags is because that game doesn't support SLI so really out of his four GPU's he's only using one(but you knew this). It is possible to get a smooth FPS in this game, you just need a beast of a single GPU and a very fast processor to make up for it's bad utilization.
