as the title says, whats the best bang for buck build

must be able to overclock etcetc and stay quiet (just not as noisy and am3 stock lol) and cool etc etc (on tier with the 2500k/560ti etc)

should be around the 1.1k~1.2k mark ps- i live in new zealand so assume the parts come with free shipping (which it wont lol)

(i dont need mouse/kb/ screen/software etcetc)

What Chewy said; make an i5 build.

If you are in the USA you can probably upgrade to a 560 448 version, 570, or a 6970 and stay in budget.

Pick up a NH-D14 for cooling or something.

Check this link to the build and see if you like it.

that was pretty much what i had in mind, i live in new zealand so imo MY best bang for buck psu is the antec hcg 750w, that was the mobo i was looking for, msi 560ti tf2 as well as its like the cheapest/best
and erm, the ram, not much gskill here in new zealand, we get a lot of corsair, mushkin and kingston, kingstons is by far the cheapest being like 2/3 the price of mushkin/corsair except mushkin corsair modules run at 1.5v whereas kingston ias 1.65v, otherwise i might be able to ship some ram from USA to nz as it is rpetty cheap, only worrying about warranty and shipping... lol

exactly what chewy said except id get a 560ti 448 if you can squeeze it in the budget. or better. graphics cards are for gaming, if its a gaming rig spend ur money on graphics cards. the 448 core isnt much more $$ but uses a different gpu than the other 560s, its like a baby 570, which is a baby 580. so its like a baby baby 580. and 580s are sick.

dont buy kingston ram. mushkin is better than corsair imo.

448's are really pricy in new zealand, in what way is mushkin better than corsair?

hmm, mushkin looks better.

i have bought mushkin ram, it worked, bought corsair ram, it did not work. the corsair logo is bunk, some sails wooo... ive seen alot moar ppl have problems with their corsair products than any other brand, although they do sell alot of stuff. tons of people like corsair, i just dont. but noone hates mushkin, right?

like i said, if you can afford it, if not then go 560ti, also really nice card. there are some sick benchies you can google to actually see the difference between newer cards.
