Good luck. Be sure to make a exhaust port.. I just ordered some 50mm fans off Newegg because this thing really heats up with no exhaust fans. The hot glue started to melt it was running so hot (after like 4-5 hours) and the hot glue has like very high melting temperature.. definitely higher than 100C.

an intake fan is better, as it also creates positive pressure

Yes, I am not sure where I'd put an intake fan though. I got 2 fans.. one for exhaust and one to blow air on the HDD.

I wonder if there are any side fans for the original 360, kuz I think that'd be a straight add-on for these (not those back intercoolers that go over the original fans but fans that pop onto the other side of the xbox from where the hdd sits).

The only fans that were in this Xbox were the ones that blew on the processor (the fans at the back that had like a tunnel thing going to the CPU like you'd see on a stock Pentium 4 machine)when it was gutted. There wasn't any other fans.. It was an original xenon model so not sure what your talking about o.O

I have a 120mm fan mounted onto the top of the xbox casing to create positive pressure in the caseing and all the holes on tope bottom and back are open so it should push hot air out with just the 120mm.... here is my build. only took me 4 hours to get what i have done so far. http://www.overclock.net/t/1229767/mini-itx-xbox-360-case-build#post_16724349

Looking at the pictures the only fan I see is the one on the heatsink? Am I missing something? I also have a fan for my heatsink of course, but that just blows on the heatsink and builds up heat inside the case. Also there is no way I can fit a 120mm fan inside the case unless it is horizontal. 50mm is the max.

It is mounted onto the plastic of the outer-casing. So it is technically on the side of the Xbox if it is standing upright when put together.

Ah, yes. I do not want to do that as I want to maintain the original xbox 360 look from the outside.
