In cpu-z it says 3.30 in core speed and sumtimes fluctuates down a bit but never over 3.30 even when stress testing! So thats what makes me worries that the overclock has not taken place or sumthing.. Also i have not tried enabling pll overvoltage i will have to give it a go thanks:thumb:

In that case it hasn't. That box should show the correct frequency.

But that brings up another question, if it's not being overclocked why can't you get into Windows at anything above 4.8 as changes aren't being made.

...CPU ratio is on manual and you are putting 48 (for 4800mhz) in the max ratio right? Just throw in 250 for all of the power limit/current limit boxes; it won't hurt it.

But i cant understand why the overclock wont work then if thats the case.. Iv overclocked it multiple times at different frequencies and even tried the auto overclock and yet none of them have shown up in cpu-z.. I dont know what versoin of it i have but that shouldnt make a difference should it?

Hmm yes that is very strange now that u mention it... Well surely it is working to some extent then? Confusing

My voltage is just a joke, I use around 1.47v.

And make sure you have 1.58 (or newer) as the CPU-Z version.

Haha ok:) well isnt 1.47 getting a bit high? I kinda thought 1.45 was the max safe voltage.

Ok i will download the newest version of cpu-z and see if it makes any difference
