PSU/Mobo compatibility issue

So I have had this 600W PSU for about 3 months now. It works perfectly with my A8N5X, and with an old NF2 mobo I have in another comp I have running.

However, I recently got this DFI mobo. Everything else that I had in the old system (with the A8N5X) is the same. However when I try to use the 600W PSU with the DFI mobo the system will not power on. The mobo's power LEDs come on and when i hit the on button the fans spin for a fraction of a second before shutting off again.

When I plug my old 450W PSU into the system it runs perfectly, and the PSU runs perfectly with my older comp. As far as I can tell the DFI mobo and 600W PSU simply hate each other for some reason... any ideas?

That Enermax 600W PSU is a high quality PSU, don't know why it won't work with the DFI board. Are all the cables properly plugged in? Does the Enermax still work in other rigs?

Yeah, I checked the cables over several times. And the Enermax works perfectly in two other systems. I'm going a little crazy, this makes no sense!
