Thanks again guys, I've emailed Enermax and will wait to see what they say.
Been playing NFSTR and GTAIV for the past few hours and she’s running like a metronome.....very odd.

I can only assume that something has blown that isn’t integral to the overall operation of the unit, maybe one of the other rails has bitten the dust…I shall do more testing tomorrow and try and figure out what to do next.

Thanks again fellow OCN brothers

I'd strongly recommend not using it. A unstable power supply could ruin other parts in your system by sending inconsistent voltages as well as cause far worse harm to you and your surroundings. This isn't something to take lightly.

If you need to run your system in the meantime you might want to look at buying another PSU. You can always sell the RMA one or keep it for backup.

Yeah I know the risks involved with continuing to use this psu but I deal with things like this on a daily basis and if i had any doubt about it damaging my system, I wouldn’t use it.

I have tested it on my psu tester and it checks out fine, i shall be rma-ing it as soon as Enermax get back to me, but for the time being i shall be doing regular tests on it daily to make sure there isn’t a problem. I cant really afford to be without my main system either lol
