[Space]NASA Probe Captures 1st Video of Moon's Far Side - Page 2

This mission is actually much more than this video...well, a little more anyway.

Kind of funny they chose this video to be the head liner, but I suppose it grabs more attention from the general public. Plus that deal with them letting schools request specific shots. Which in its self will hold little educational value, but will likely make a child more interested in science.

The Grail team will use the twin probes' measurements to construct highly detailed maps of the moon's gravitational field. These maps are expected to reveal a great deal about lunar composition, allowing scientists to draw insights about how the moon formed and how it has changed over time, researchers said.

I find that quite interesting and I can't wait to see any data they release. I am a big fan of the theory that we once had two moons and they collided and formed one.

I think this was just the first video of it. Not that big of a deal since it doesn't tell us anything more than the pics do.

I am not familiar with this "Grail" project...I hope this was not its only goal

This.

in truth I really would like to know what these guys from naza are going to tell us that they see on the far side of the moon.Everyone knows that, that side is a alien base, of extraterrestrial that work on MOON SPACESHIP, in order to orbite Earth in precise timing, as it has ben from the begining, as it is now, and as it will be in the future. They don't want any humans in there, this is why nasa stop sending apolo missions because the last astronauts have been warned to not return to the moon. So why nasa keeps spending bilions of dolores in projects that don't take them anywhere further. The only thing I expect is to see pictures of the lunar aliens bases. Then I will have fun.God Bless.

I, personally, believe this and have done for years and years since i started watching UFO Documentaries, programs and videos about the Moon. There's videos on youtube of flying saucers flying over the moon, which i believe 100% in.

That's just me.

Am I missing the point of this project? We already have pictures of the whole moon. There is Google Moon if you want to see what everything looks like.

Some of you might be interested in the Japanese probe Kaguya that recorded the Earth rising above the Moon's surface as the probe traveled from the back side of the moon in 2008:
