By sleeving 'wrapper', do you mean the heat shrink? If so, you could achieve an infinitely cleaner look by bringing the size down to the regular 15mm sleevers use, or at least a lot less than you've got.
Another avenue I would try is not braiding your wires once sleeved. I know it might seem like they go everywhere and need to be managed to get a straight look BUT a few twist ties or velcro wraps around the wires, mold the wires in the shape, routing, and bends you want, and set it there with the ties/ wraps. Come back tomorrow and voila, perfect, clean wire routing
