How do you think they plan to fund their failing Windows Media Phone division?

Their Windows Phones are actually quite good. More efficient than both iOS and Android in my opinion. I'm an Android fanboy, not going to lie there, but I do enjoy the Windows Phone. I wouldn't mind owning one.

As far as the Office Suite, all I've got to say is: Open Office.

Has worked extremely well for me for the last couple of years. Have it installed on all my computers. thumb.gif

Open Office is slow and sluggish, LibreOffice is fast and not late to the game.

Well since with Office 2010 they have provided a free (ad driven) version. and they also offer the "home and student" edition of Office 201 (3 licenses for $150) I can see them removing the program that generated the largest amount of grey market sales from their offerings. plus the cost of the "anytime upgrades" from Microsoft is significantly lower than their previous upgrade programs (To upgrade from XP home to XP Pro was $199.99 , from Windows 7 Basic to Windows7 Ultimate is 129.99) In a market where most other software providers have increased their prices, Microsoft has cut their prices to be more competitive. I really don't see the issue with this other than "M$ is doing it, it must be evil!!!!"

Darn I loved Windows 7 Professional for $15. Time to go buy a couple keys just in case...
