If it's got 120W or more on the 12V rail it's fine. Again, you could get away with maybe a little less but if the manufacturer has overrated their product slightly as many tend to do it's best to play on the safe side a little.

That's a really low power system and a 160W PSU will handle it.
As far as I know though you need a power brick to go with that PSU.
Jonnyguru reviewed some picoPSUs and showed the effect the power brick can have on the quality of power the picoPSU can supply.
That roundup also compares some of the available PSUs with each other so it should be worth a read if you haven't already.

ok, first of all, i realized that i accidentally left the 120mm fan in there with the kit, which the calculator includes. here is the fixed full system:

213

now that thats over with, here is without an hdd (ssd-only system)

213

and without an ssd (hdd-only system)

216

gl bro thumb.gif

edit: you may consider going with something a little more...low key...for the cooler. its not like you'll be oc'ing on a pico psu.

the one on amazon would be better.

the numbers the psu calculator spits out are max consumption numbers. i doubt a system like the one your building is going to consume that much power for more than a few seconds (its not like you're going to be benching on it), meaning that you should be fine under the 200w max rating the psu carries.

also, its cheaper here.

Bro, grab yourself the suriken from scythe. It is small, quiet and cools well. You don't need the H50 for an i3. They run so cool it is nuts. Hell you could probably cool that just by touching it with your finger.
