I'd rather pay $35-$50 for xbox live a year than dealing with sony network outrageous.

I have owned a ps3 and an xbox and i find the xbox much more user friendly and just more of my friends play the xbox. Alot of times you can find deals on xbox online, like just last week you could buy 1 year or xbox live for $36.

The only thing I can think off that could back up your statement is the fact that Xbox live hasn't lost thousands of credit cards during a hack, which btw wouldn't even be a valid argument since there is no reason that Microsoft & Sony stores that info on their servers anyway...
I'm sorry if I seem a bit in-yow-face, but I'm just angry :<<br /> Just today I bought an Xbox, bunch of games, Xbox live Gold, Microsoft Points to buy DLC for gears, only to find out that I won't be playing with my friends after all...
Thanks a lot microsoft... you're the best

If you'd rather have frequent hour-long updates which makes you unable to play for the time being, buy a PS3. Xbox Live is a very reliable service, unlike PSN.

Ok, as all you guys are saying Xbox live is more user friendly than PSN...I'm going to disagree. I went from PSN to XBL and I was lost....completely. Its horrid IMO. I would be willing to bet on it that if PS3 was the same price as Xbox then it would sell a ton more. You get a Blu Ray player as well as good online services including BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, 4oD, Lovefilm and Netflix. I know someone with an Xbox who is always swapping from one device to the other. Xbox - Play games (although not online much as it charges)....Apple Tv - watch films n netflix.....Bluray player for Blurays. Why not save all that money and buy a PS3? I honestly cant see the pros on getting xBox over PS3....not to mention all the exclusive games.

Im not a fanboy.....promise smile.gif. Ive given xBox a chance and I know a lot of PS3 and PC gamers who have too, however a good 90% of xBox gamers I've met slag PS3 off without having played one.

I dont get frequent long updates.....and I am up to date. I was on XBL once and it wanted to charge me to update a game....never happened on PSN....

I would definitely pay attention. I just recently found out my friend thought you could only buy memberships in 3-month segments! He's been doing this for 4 years! I haven't paid more than $40 a year since 2006.

In my opinion, Xbox is the best for ONLINE gaming. The quality of the voice chat alone makes it a better option over PSN. Ever try and play BF3 online on a PC? Nothing but hackers and cheats. On one particular game, all of the vehicles instantly had C4 on them and exploded upon entering them.

Sorry to say that's not the PC's fault its EA's or Origins. I agree though I find Xbox Live better then PSN. I also Find PC better then both.
