No, why should i mod the game? To improve it? Basically i don't want to play a game where modding is required, it should be perfect from release.

OP i agree, it seemed a lot shorter than i expected. Besides graphics and gimmicks like "shouts", i didn't feel that it offered a whole lot more than oblivion did.

the guild quests were much better in Oblivion. Morrowwind is much better than both. i recently re installed it, and the graphics mods have rendered skyrim/oblivion obsolete. i'll get back to Skyrim when overhaul mods are done.

EDIT: The Witcher 2 is the best RPG of 2011.

My big disappointments are:

1) The lack of 'scaling' loot. I constantly find unique weapons that would've been cool like 100 hours ago. They should've made it so that when you find something cool at the end of some questline, it gets better depending on the level you're at when you complete it.
2) The lack of upgrades available on mage armor and spells. Mage players really get the short end when it comes to upgrading your gear in every sense. There's almost no loot that's of interest if you're a mage.
3) The lack of XP for completing quest lines. With no real loot, and no XP for questing ... it makes doing side quests as a mage pretty dull.

There also should've been something like an 'explorers' perk line ... where you could get perks like 'pick flowers and shoot ranged weapons/spells from the horse', or expose map markers for all dungeons, and that kind of thing.

It would be cool if the game world 'reacted' to your deeds more, but ... it doesn't bother me that much.
