This stinks, checking for a possible savior.

So I have absolutely everything I need for my new biggest build and the only thing I'm missing is fittings. I just priced it out and im looking at 9-45 degrees :$144;3-90degrees :$49; 6 straight:$48 some extensions and crystal link about $40. Am I really about to spend 350 shipped give or take a little for some fittings? I mean the way it stands now i think I have no choice. Anyone know a place or company I some how don't know of that sells them cheaper or will give discounts. Anyone with used fittings? redface.gif

You have a couple of options. First, ensure you really need all of those things. There may be ways to organize your loop more efficiently. Second, look at the OCN Marketplace in the cooling section. If someone has what you are looking for, you can purchase from there, even though you don't have the reps to sell. Also, look into barbs if you want to save some cash. Compressions are crazy expensive.

just get some 7/16 tubing and 1/2" barbs. you wont need any clamps or anything. i have been running like this for a while and no leaks as are several other users on here

Sadly, angled fittings are pretty crazy at ~$15 each. Even a lot of standard compressions are pushing $10 each. Hopefully with the new Monsoon fittings at $6 each when bought in a pack of 6, the prices of others may come down, or there's a chance that the Monsoon will rise a bit over time.

Ultimately, I refuse to look at how much I've spent in fittings and liquid cooling gear in my current rig lol

I feel your pain. I just bought two dual rotary 90's, two L-connectors, two extenders, a 45, and a bunch of compressions. All I can say is shop around. I ended up buying some things from Performance-PC's and some from Sidewinders. It ended up being cheaper that way even paying two sets of shipping. One thing that might help is to use a really common size fitting like 1/2" x 3/4". You'll have a better chance of finding used gear and stuff on sale probably. I use 7/16" x 5/8" so there isn't as big of selection.

And this is why I plan my loops using barbs and no angled fittings... tongue.gif I'd do some reconsidering on what's essential, 9 45's is quite a few and I'd think you could get rid of several of them. Other than used on the marketplace, these things aren't exactly cheap, and I've not seen any bulk discounts offered.

Considered straight fittings on all of them, and possibly using 7/16" tubing for a tighter bend radius? I mean, really, your options here are $350 in fittings or do the bends with tubing.

If you don't already have fittings that are a different size I'd go with fitting sizes that have insane bend radius too, 3/8id 5/8od or 7/16id 5/8od for slightly less bend radius. Bends look better than straight tubes with angled fittings imo.

Bitspower 7/16 5/8 compressions
Quantity: 2-7 Items | 8+ Items
Price: $5.50 | $5.00

Enzotechnology Compression Fitting - 3/8" - 5/8"

If you do all straight compressions with bends it'll only cost you ~$90 with 7/16 tubing thumb.gif I think your wallet would thank you if you did that.

Well I planned on doing 7/16 Thats the tubing i already have. I'll order some straight fittings and we will see how far i can get it to bend. Thanks guys.
