[TF2.com] TF2012! - Page 2

I don't mind the micro transactions at all, it adds an entire new style of playing for people interesting in solely collecting rather than actually playing the game as an FPS. However, when it went free, the game got very boring.

TF2? Oh that game....you could hardly call that abomination a game anymore. More like professional trading software. Might even see a new show on history channel called trade starz.

I still love TF2, makes for a fun time with friends when I don't want to play shooters like BF3 smile.gif

Haven't played for almost a year now. At some point the gameplay got old for me and I went into hardcore trading for a couple of months. Ended up just selling everything off since I figured the economy would crash sooner or later (not sure if it ever did). In either case, hopefully there's some good stuff to draw those like myself back.

The TF2 team is working on some ungodly hat-map hybrid that you can wear on your head while you run around in it.

I dont see it being something amazing.... 64 player servers will be nice though O.o

Well, I started playing BF3 when I got my sig rig, and I found that much more complicated than starting to play TF2. I still am confused whenever I go to an online map like where the hell am I supposed to go or do. (this was both about half a year ago, I have never played any TF or BF game before that)

This. And Im not the only one who thinks this, I used to play with a couple of friends, we all quited...
And since then we basicly didnt play together anymore.

Great news, love TF2. I find myself playing this F2P game way more often than both MW3 and BF3 combined. Ever since it went free, I enjoyed a few months of owning noobs and whatnot. Now they're all pretty darn good at it, and my friends and I even made a clan and our own server.

Hats are a good addition to TF2 as it incorporates sort of MMORPG feel to it, rendering your character feel unique and more personalized than mindless games like CS:S (still an amazing game though.)

Almost all of the weapons I use are still vanilla, like a boss tongue.gif The game is still awesome, except for the "hey wanna trade?" and the "hey give me some hats? I'll give you 2 weapons" crap. Glad to see they're still updating it.
