Crap! I forgot about the tax, so I actually am over budget... Going back to all newegg, games amazon, and CPU microcenter.

You're totally misunderstanding my suggestion. I'm saying to buy that Dlink and use it as a wireless bridge. Your pc will hook up to it as if it's a wired network, but there's no physical wire going from the Dlink to your router downstairs. You'll have a much better connection. Trust me thumb.gif

I was actually going to ask about the microcenter sales tax issue. They have some great deals as long as they offset the tax vs buying online with free shipping. Online stores don't have to worry about the overhead or sales tax unless the warehouse is in your state. Instead of worrying about how to spend money, just be happy with finding places to save. biggrin.gif

This thread is tldr, except OP. If I were you I'd seriously consider holding off on that 7950 until prices drop and spend a bit more on something else and use an old card, buy a used one or deal.
