Steelseries Vs. Roccat

Thread Starter
I am looking at upgrading my headset, and I have got it down to either the Steelseries 7H (USB or not, doesn't bother me really) or the Roccat Kave. I like certein features of both and dislike features of both as well, not really sure which direction to swing in. I have owned like 2 pairs of headsets my whole life so i don't know alot about them. Any help would be great =)

Yeah i did look at those, But spec wise they don't look much different to the steelseries ones, and as i am somewhat new to all this all i can go by are the specs, so please do tell what the subtle differences are?

EDIT: Should also say they will be used mostly for gaming as well smile.gif

chinesekiwi would not have recommended the pc360 unless he understood that you were looking for a gaming headphone. It is a solid recommendation considering your requisites. If you were looking for a better solution, then a (real) headphone with a separate mic would be your best bet (this is almost always the best solution). If you do decide on the latter, then the link to Simca's thread by Search is going to be the best place to start.

EDIT: BTW, I agree, don't go with either set you linked.

I would nab a pair of AD700 and a zalman clip on mic. I went from the sibera's to this setup and I could hear 100x more in games. I hope that helps out.
