Boost bass response?

Thread Starter
I have my PC hooked up to my NR-3008 and everything works exactly as it should, except for how much bass I get. I use my vid card and the realtek HDMI drivers to get sound to the receiver, but bass just doesn't seem to be what it should.

Is there any program that I can use to boost it up? If I use the dynamic eq on my receiver, it boosts it up, but I hate the boomyness of it. Plus it makes the surround channels too loud. I also don't want to just boost the bass through the receiver, since it sticks on all of the inputs...

Any fix?

Try out that, it's Realtek's old EQ program. It isn't officially supported by Vista or Windows7, but it works for most people, apparently.
