I really liked the Star Ocean series. I played SO2 back in the PSX days. I re-bought SO1 and SO2 when they were released on the PSP. Fun. SO 3 was kind of a let down story wise. SO4 was OK.

Seriously, it seems like those of us who still enjoy turn based RPGs are forced to just replay old titles. That or keep crying for Square Enix to remake FF7.

Oh man I really miss thous games to. The golden era of rpg's came to a close with Final fantasy 9 on the PSX. FFX on PS2 was a pail imitation story wise and it has been all down hill since then frown.gif

I've been doing that for years. Even Chrono Trigger loses it's luster after you beat it 10 times. I think I'm just gonna have to buy a PSP Vita and hope they allow you to hook it up to your PS3 and play on a TV. While I know they've still been coming out with RPG titles for PSP I already sold mine and don't really see the point of playing a handheld console when I have a big screen TV.

I miss them all too. jrpg's are the only reason I bought a psx or ps2. Now I have no reason to buy a console anymore.

And no talk of the Breath of Fire series?!

Damnit....Im gonna have to bust out the ole modded PS2 now.
