Yeah, it's kind of an anti-rpg rpg in that sense, heh.

I still enjoy Pokemon. I always buy the new versions that come out, even if they're not "as good" as the first ones (i'm not a nostalgic dbag). Overall, I have liked every Pokemon game that has been launched on mobile platforms. From Red/blue to White/Black

I loved the original pokemon, I played Pokemon Red on the bus home from school every day, and I even liked the next couple installments, but I think the series has grown stale. The battle and attack graphics haven't really improved and instead of sticking to the original 150 Pokemon they've created so many that these newer ones are generic and unmemorable.

Have to agree with Pokemon. The last memorable generation was the third one (Hoenn - Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald), though The Original 150 were the best, and the Johto ones were the most badass.

I dont want Pokemon to change though, I think it is awesome as it is. Though I wouldnt complain if someone came out with a First-Person Pokemon game tongue.gif

For those that were wondering about the Golden Sun DS game. It's actually been out for awhile. To be honost I got bored with it about half way through. Didn't seem as good as the first two.
Golden Sun Dark Dawn

I'm personally looking forward to Xenoblade Chronicles a lot.
Xenoblade Chronicles

It seems like the best place to find traditional JRPG's today is on the DS or PSP. Radiant Historia was a really good DS RPG. Dragon Quest IX was a DS release for whatever reason...

It does feel like the JRPG style has been demoted to a sub-genre this generation.

Wow Xenoblade Chronicles looks promising I'll definitely have to check that one out. Very squaresoft-esque.
