Here's the thing, if the old one was 128 right? That means it was 64 above water and 64 below, does this mean it'll be 128 either way this time or will the extra 128 go on top of the 64 for the sky?

I hope the second one, screw you guys, imma going into space.

192 for sky? I thought the top was gonna be 255? 192 should work for what I'm doing, all I think I'm gonna need for the castle is 150ish.

I was looking around for some potential ideas for builds from pics and here is a few I came across:

532

384

Those are for a proposed design for Tokyo sky city.

Also:

241

Make a bunch of platforms similar to that and have connect them via falsebook bridges or toggleable areas

Or maybe the kindom of Zeal from Chrono Trigger:

415

Of course you would have to scale that one way down, but even something similar would look very cool in minecraft. Voxel sniper would help tremendously with the terrain on a project like this.

Just some ideas kirby or anyone else if you were thinking about a sky city.

I found this mod called Redpower that seems to improve redstone a lot. Unfortunately it's also client sided, like the planes mod.
Perhaps sometime we could start compiling some mods into our own modpack for players to download easily. Some people probably wouldn't be interested in downloading them though. frown.gif

Edit: Guess what I found... wink.gif

InstaWire - Instant repeaters and a few instant logic gates.
VerticalRedstone - Allows redstone to be placed on vertical surfaces.

They are both updated to 1.2.3 and are available for multiplayer. I'm not sure how the multiplayer version works, I will look into that later.
